Arynn P.O.V The day I ran away from my mate was the scariest day. I left my mate Trevor on a cold and rainy night. Trevor and I were arguing again, a regular occurrence for us. "Arynn belongs to me and will obey me!" I protest back to my wolf. But he turns us back to human puts a mind block between us, locking me out. Arynn's P.O.V I arrive in LA several hours later. Alex is whimpering feeling the pain her wolf James is in, feeling our mate bond being slowly severed is a difficult thing to deal with. Being he didn't say he accepts our rejection the process of being released is much slower and more painful. But in time we will be free from him. But he will suffer the bond much longer. I made my way thru the city, caught a bus to a small town. 3 hours later I arrive in Avila Beach. It was such a beautiful place the sun was setting over the ocean, i walk down the beach watching the colors and breathing in the fresh salty air. I finally felt free! I collapse in the sand and cry. Found a hotel for a few nights. Thankfully because I had my own money from working as a teen before I left my own family the spring lake pack I am able to survive. I wanted to go back to my family but they sold me to Trevor when I was 17 before i even felt my mate bond to him. But because he is older then me by 6 years he felt his bond to me and staked claim to me immediately and offered to buy me. So with that and it being frowned apon to leave your marked mate, I knew I wouldn't be welcomed there or protected. They would probably just hold me their till he came to collect to me. So i was on my own, a rogue. ~1 month later~ It didn't take long before I found a piece of property to buy with a small house on it just 10min from town. It was a small 3 acre property with 2 horses, a few sheep and a flock of chickens. The house was cute needed a little updating but it something to keep me busy. The old couple I bought the property from were the sweetest people I've ever met. They agreed to teach me how to take care of the place and animals. They did just that showed up every day for a month till I had it figured out. It was hard human work but it was nice. For 3 months I really enjoyed being alone and taking care of my own home and animals. I even learned how to build and upholster furniture. Working and creating things with my own hands was the best experience. Started selling my pieces and bringing in money. It felt great.
