Chapter 12

KILLIAN POV

Killian watched her sister, Danni intently as the spotlight hit her direction when Alpha Aston asked to claim her as his Luna, after he received his title from his father former Alpha Asser. Her eyes widen in shock and confusion written all over her innocent face as all eyes locked to her.

He watched the play of emotion cross her face, one moment in confusion, then concentration, yet again surprise when she realized he is her mate when Alpha Aston approached her. He guided her up the stage as fresh tears stung her eyes. Aston went down on one knee and asked her to be his Luna. He looked deeply into her sister's eyes, as love was reflected in their warm brown depths.

Danni nodded as tears endlessly flowed in her eyes.

All the people gathered at The Claiming Ceremony cheered for the new Alpha and Luna of The Red Crest House.

The couple cling to each other's arms and shared a deep passionate kiss, not wanting to part. They broke of from their embrace when a naughty audience shouted "Get a room!" Danni's face colored in embarrassment, her mate on the other hand beams proudly while holding her in his arms.

Her sister flushed and still overflowing with happiness noticed him standing at the side of the stage and came rushing to him. She gave him a kiss and a tight hug. A glimmer of delight reflects on her face as she glows with love. He kissed and hugged her back as he whispered. "I told you..."

Her eyes widen and startled with his brother's revelation.

With her mouth wide open. She gasped and asked. "You knew?"

He rubbed the back of his head and nervously chuckled. "Yes."

"Since when? Tonight?" She asked curiously as her eyes narrowed in confusion.

"About a year now..."

"What?! That long? Why didn't you tell me!" She pouted at him.

"Because your mate made me promise." He said while his eyes glanced at Aston her mate.

They locked eyes in a shared understanding as his sister's brown eyes twinkle in excitement. Aston approached them in the middle of their conversation. He then gave him a knowingly look and a brotherly hug.

"You better make Danni happy or I will have you head." He mischievously warned him in a gritted whisper on Aston's ear.

Aston chuckled nervously and answered. "You know I will. I love her very much and I will make her happy every day, I promise."

They both nodded at each other in understanding.

The organizers of the party politely asked every last one of them to step down from the stage as the awards have been presented and that the handing over ceremony of the Alpha title of The Red Crest House has ended. They were then escorted back to their seats as the organizers explained that the next part of the program is about to start.

The people at the VIP's table were then served with new refreshments, desserts and hot set of meals.

THIRD PERSON POV

There was an air of confusion, wild whispers buzz and a different kind of energy from the wolves in attendance for about fifteen minutes when the song on the speakers stopped playing.

The lights on the stage suddenly dimmed low and the huge screen on top of the stage suddenly turned black.

The stage began in a flurry of smoke. Sudden bright strobe lights illuminated the space between the stage and the people near it. The huge screen suddenly showed a black and pink silhouette of a full moon and as soon as the huge letters spelling M-O-O-N flashing in sequence on it the crowd went crazy screaming, jumping and waving their hands in manic frenzy. The untuned piano at the start made the introduction a whole heap interesting as it was follow up by punchy synth bass and light percussion instruments while the stage lights played skillfully with the rhythm.

The crowd went wilder as they jump for joy and screamed at the top of their lungs when a voice of a woman greeting the crowd shouted "ARE YOU READY?!" The screams over shadowing the music the band plays.

A sudden play of lights and flashing on the screen as the band skillfully strummed, pluck and banged their instruments, gave the atmosphere an energetic feel pumping the diverse crowd as they lift their hands in the air playfully to the beat of the music. Dancers jumped into the song on each side of the stage donned in their flashy corset type costume to the crowds enjoyment.

Emerging from a cloud of smoke a silhouette of beautiful silver haired woman holding a diamond encrusted pink mic ascended from the platform below the stage.

The people with Killian at the VIP's tables all stood up in curiosity when she appeared at the top of the stage and her charming smile flashed on the wide screen. They all asked in unison who the beautiful woman was. He too was curious. The people screaming for joy in acknowledgement for the performer is composed of a much younger crowd than the people he is with.

She looks ravishing in her dress. A mythical seductress. Her dress is a avant-garde strapless top corset lingerie inspired bodysuit, the tight bodice hugging her tiny waist making her breasts swell above the molded cups of her top. Her shoulders, collarbone and cleavage exposed as specks of gold are dusted on it. The see through billowing sleeves of her dress hung enticingly low off her arm and ends with a narrow double layered cuffs on her dainty wrists. Her skirt is a sheer tulle fabric draped on her hips tied by two flimsy straps fashioned into a ribbon. The dramatic side slit shows off her endless velvety legs and her body hugging bodice showing the womanly shape under it.

She had great stage presence and her flashing visuals made him not tear his eyes off of her. He felt the mark on his back burn up more as he stares at her intently. He felt a tightening on his groin when the screen flashes a closeup of her golden eyes. A flicker of interest awakens within him.

"Mitsuki..." His wolf Cassis growled from within him.

There is no doubt in his mind. He studies her like a predator's unwavering attention. He can feel his wolf Cassis surfacing as he fought for control over him. He fought harder to keep him at bay.

"Calm down. We can't start a commotion right now." He grit his teeth trying to calm his beast down. Cassis hungry growls vibrates in every fiber of his body.

With an explosion of confetti she walked forward in front of the stage to the crowd and with the strong rhythm of an angst tropical synth craze and energy midtempo bounce she started singing and dancing with her flawless vocals... Her white dress immediately set her apart from the black-clothed backup dancers for her performance.

The lyrics to her song simply matches tonight's mood.

The crowd sings along with her as the hook of the song matches the central instrumental refrain. The constant bubble of electronics gives the song an addictive feel as the crowd dances with the beat.

The way her hips sways and her hair flips every time she dances along with her backup dancers fascinates him. She playfully walked across the stage and encourage the crowd flashing them her most dazzling smile as she seduces them to the song during her rap verse is delightful to watch sending the crowd into a frenzy.

The blast of proximate pyrotechnics on the addictive chorus song and the addition of flame dancers gave an exciting and thrilling show.

The way her never ending shapely legs peaks out through the long slit of her dress and the show of the bottom underwear of her costume underneath the see-through skirt when she walks from left to right of the stage is making him burn up as he watch.

After five minutes the first song ended with synchronize blasts of colored fireworks.

The big screen flashed a closeup of her profile, as she catches her breath and blows kisses to the crowd that went wild yet again.

The dancers positioned themselves on the center of the stage and the next two songs are pure dance bangers. The second songs chorus is a perfect to jump in the dance floor which features a relentless triple bass flow but vocally bereft repetitive chorus.

The crowd hype up more as they dance and jump in unison with the psychedelic play of stage lights and heart thumping blasts of the speakers play the addictive hook of the bass beat. The dancers synchronized body movements to the music is a production to watch.

After six minutes, the second song ended. She catch her breath and was handed water as the crowd cheered her on. She introduced herself to the delight of the crowd.

The security intervened when a few younger rowdy men tried to grab her by the hands. He furrowed his brows with the organizers choice of female security.

He felt the urge to strangle those male wolves who dared tried to touch her, clenched his fists as he felt his anger forming. But, refused to let it take control of him.

The next song starts off as a straight up trap song, before the beat drops and it inexplicably and wonderfully spirals into a pulsating club track that leaves everyone catching their breath.

The crowd deliciously dance to the whole song while chanting parts of the main chorus. Excitement flushed on their young faces as they beamed in pure ecstacy of freely dancing to the wild beats. After another set of synchronous pyrotechnics ending the song. The onstage musicians played an instrumental performance as

she playfully talked to the crowd and asked them if they are ready for more. The whole placed boomed with their voices in unison.

Smoothly the third song segue into a much slower dancey sexy feel of a song to give the crowd time to breath. The way she sang in a breathy hum that is pleasing to the ears. He watches as her hips sexily sways to beat of the song...

He didn't want to blink, least he might miss something. She knows how to work the stage, she seductively glides teasing her audience with her sultry honeyed voice bringing out a different sexy vibe feeding the crowd. The loud booms of fireworks and pink confetti ended her last song. The band played skillfully as she introduced each member of her production from the band members to her back up dancers.

She thanked every one and greeted them a pleasant night, she prepared to leave and waved goodbye to the audience. But the crowd shouted for an encore in unison. She hesitated for a moment and looked behind her.

He saw Alpha Aston's sister, Marion as she signaled something to her on stage and lifted a finger in the air. She walked back and talked to her band.

It was an impromptu performance.

The light dimmed yet again after five minutes, the crowd's loud voices hummed as she appeared standing in the center of the stage a spotlight illuminating her on the dark space. The wind blew gently making stands of her long curly silver hair dance.

The serene tune of a solo piano gave the night a romantic feel. The way she sucked in a nervous steamy breath before she sang the first word to the lyrics made his skin shudder in response. She sang a love song and created a romantic feel to tonight.

The woman before his eyes is bewitching. The crowd slowly sways to her love song setting a sensual mood to the audience. wolves paired up to slow dance to the song.

Bright screens from the crowds phones lighted like fireflies in the dark night as they wave them in a synchronous rhythm adding a romantic feel in the air.

The people with him in the VIP's tables slowly paired up and danced. While those without partners had glow in their eyes, some looked solemn, other glimmer as their eyes become watery, a few had a flicker of passion within while they savor her angelic voice and listened to the words of her song reach the depths of their souls and touched their hearts.

A soft mellow breeze passed her on the stage carrying her cotton candy and vanilla scent. It was very faint, but strong enough for him to catch...

"Mate..." Cassis growls in a lascivious manner.

He was taken aback, then he put one and two together... They both realized why they wanted Mitsuki no matter what.
