The king had looked like a very strong man but the moment her saw the two young ones he broke out in tears hugging his wife who once again started to cry . Her other children had surrounded the two children and they had giggled and laughed with each other getting to know one another after the years they had spent apart. The court had all stared at her as she sat in her seat next to Motono who gently patted her leg that she was shaking rapidly under the table. The moment his hand touched her thigh a calm washed over her the anxiety she had felt melted away she smiled her thanks at him as she placed her hand on top of his a light pink colored her cheeks. "What are her plans?" Amani bit her lip before speaking "I have my own dreams and goals for the future , knowing I am a royal does not change those goal in the slightest . If I am to be a good leader I must learn everything about not only magic and my abilities but I must know how to help heal my people as well so we can all live in peace and harmony. I do not think anyone was wrong in saying I need to learn what it means to be a royal , I should definitely learn about my ancestry . I should also learn how to be diplomatic, how to interact with people of all walks of life including the noble and royal. However I am a 17 year old I am not some young child who will allow people I do not even know dictate how I will and need to live my life. If I end up creating a kingdom I will not be depending on this kingdom to do so . How can I call it My kingdom if someone else from this kingdom builds it for me. I will not be a pawn for you to gain more land for yourself. We are family and allies , we have agreed to work together to solve a thorn in both our sides before we even knew I was a lost princess so we will continue as planned with me using my time here to learn about this kingdom and family as well as some royalty lessons while we wait for Otaktay our mutual enemy to die" she spoke like she was a queen already the king and queen looked proud of her , Rue and Rufus both sent thumbs ups her way while some of the members of the royal court frowned at what she had said Motono didn't say another word instead he just smiled at her . Motono smiling at her meant so much to Amani in that moment as it solidified her confidence in her choices she knew he was an alpha so he knew a lot about leading people and he seemed to agree with her choices so she didn't doubt herself. "Amani you mentioned you had dreams and goals you wanted to achieve could you tell us them please" an elder woman asked her kindly she smiled " yes ma'm I want to graduate in medicine I have an interest in women's health as well as birth and deliveries and just want to know everything I can learn about healing , I also intend on learning all I can about veterinary medicines as well I want to be able to heal more than just the spirit and soul of a person , I want to heal the body and mind as well as the heart of everyone who needs it" some people were impressed others looked as though she were Cerberus "how do you plan on achieving that goal while still building a kingdom for yourself ? how will you find a king if you are only focused on schooling?" she took Motono's hand feeling like it could help her say the words she needed to say "I am not worried about a King right now I am 17 , I have been working towards this dream my whole life , I am going to go back to Chitomi and it will be where I take up the mantle of my father's legacy . I will be learning from Motono Greyson and any other Greysons willing to teach me what they know as his family are all in the medical field including animal medicine, magical medicine and human medical care.
