Zonta missed Amani. She had never been away from her best friend for more than a three-day weekend. The one time they had a training camp for a week when she was younger, they had sent her home on the fourth day due to her going stir crazy, whining and howling. Zonta hadn't stopped worrying about Amani since she was kidn*pped over a month ago. She had been keeping track of her movements through the crows, she was proud of her friend making so much progress in her studies . Zonta would never get in the way of her learning, so she focused on her own learning instead. There would be plenty of time to catch up with her friend once she finished her new training. Zonta was never supposed to be a pack warrior. She was supposed to be a pack healer/herbalist. Zonta was not a normal werewolf, she was also a Spirit witch who was set to take over for the shaman until a new shaman was born and trained. She was always aware that one day she and Amani would have to go their own ways as Amani always planned on going back to Chitomi Village to take over her father and mother's positions in the village. Zonta was not born into Kekuoan pack but had been left abandoned in Lunaria they never did figure out who her parents were . Cheyenne had been the one who had come across the bundled up baby crying in the middle of the forest , she had never even noticed anyone had crossed their boarder so it was a complete mystery who Zonta's family was they only knew her name because it was on her blanket and in a letter that was tucked into the blanket it only stated her name and date of birth nothing more. Zonta was forever grateful to the Alpha couple and had decided she would work her hardest to help the pack by healing the hearts, souls and bodies of her pack . Zonta was younger than Amani she had just had her 16th birthday without Amani there while Amani now had her 17th birthday without her in captivity as well. Being 16 Zonta was now closer to being able to figure out who her mate was if she came into contact with him but there was no science or telling when she actually would find her mate there were no rules about mating or how to find them as far as she was aware. She had tried to find out who her possible mate was but nothing ever felt special around any of the males or females she had been around up until then. She did have a slight crush on Mingen hen they were growing up but she just assumed it was warped admiration and paid it no more thought than that ever since besides he was far above her in rank, skills, age/maturity and intelligence.

Motono was relaxing in his room when his Gamma Marthius came in with a folder in his hand "Motono I got the info from the other witches, Otaktay still hasn't located the Vampire he is searching for , the rest of his rogues have been taken care of and the village of all the turned have gone through a ritual with a new alpha leading them " He was shocked "wait are you serious Marty ? what the- how did they find an alpha to take over that territory and is he or she strong enough to defend against Otaktay should he return to them?" he opened the folder he was surprised to see the new Alpha was none other than his own younger brother who appeared to be mated to one of the women that had been cursed by Otaktay. He recognized the woman she was a witch that had been kind and helpful he was happy for his brother Theo as the youngest it was only a matter of time for him to find his own place in the world where he could be his own person although he would always carry the weight of being a Greyson on his shoulders he had just expanded their territory by becoming the Alpha they renamed the town and gave the pack the name Meta deciding the name suited the people of the village who could never go back to whom they used to be but could only go forward accepting all of whom they once were , have become and would become in the future since their family lines would now be born with wolves of their own as many of the turned had half wolves who would now be mating with half or even full wolves themselves . There would be much transformation happening in that village and he would help his brother in anyway he could if his brother asked him .

He hoped his brother could bring a new child into the family as none of them had a child yet but were all over 18 years old and their parents were waiting to be grandparents already since wolves were family oriented bringing pups into the pack was an honor. He wondered if he would ever have pup's of his own he was starting to doubt it, if Amani didn't end up being his mate he didn't think he would ever find his mate since he had met every eligible she wolf of his families packs and all their neighboring packs as well. Motono had never felt a connection with any she-wolf the way he had connected with Amani no woman had ever made his soul feel at peace though he wasn't even sure if he would still feel that sense of calm around her now that she was no longer a little toddler . He was curious to find out what she would be like once he got to know her but first they had to get rid of those that threatened her well being. He had already been making plans to get her uncle Nuka Grace taken care of . His beta had finally found proof that supported a suspicion his father and uncles always had about the death of Chitomi's most beloved Shaman and that was that his brother had found a way to have him removed from the living world using the stupid walking dead vampire scum to get what he wanted. Motono was talking with the witches and they have come to the consensus that as long as he openly admits to having his brother killed via the vampires his mothers curse would activate and his powers would be bound cursing him to no longer be able to use his magics. They just haven't figured out how to get him to say the words out loud. He was mere hours away from meeting the royal family but still hadn't figured out the answers to all his questions he sighed before putting his files all aside and eating all the thinking he had been doing had made him famished.
