Meeting the Royals

The gates slowly opened as we approached. As we entered, what looked like a court yard, we were met by a man who looked to be in his late twenties. The wild blonde hair made him look slightly older. "Alex, Jonas." The man greeted.     "Stayne." They said.     "Who have you brought with you today?" He said it like he was used to this. One man, who I believe is Alex, opened his mouth to respond.     "We don't know their names. They haven't really answered any questions we have asked. I think they are in shock. One of them is injured. She is also the leader of the group."     "I am not the leader. We are equals. What is up with these people? I blame you Erick." I turned to Erick with a glare. He bit his lip to keep from laughing. The three men just watched me in confusion.     "A woman is the leader?" Stayne chuckled. "Are you sure that is wise?" He asked, looking at Erick. Jenna gasped and Erick flinched. The others gaped at Stayne.     "Well...Evie, please do not kill someone right now." Erick whispered.     "I think we should just find a way back home. I don't even care how bad my leg is right now." I growled. "I am not about to be judged because my gender. What right does he have to judged us? He knows nothing about us!" I whispered back. Erick cringed some more and shared a look with Adrian.     "Don't look at me. The stupid high ass is the one who insulted Evie. You know how her and her family is. If there is one thing that they can all agree on, it's honor. That's just insulting her whole family." Adrian stated loud enough. The guards and Stayne glared at him.     "I think we should have just let that wolf kill us instead of going to the cavern." Jonah said jokingly.     "Now is not the time." Jenna snapped. "Listen buddy, we came here because the King of the Fire Blooms said that you people could help us. If you great people like that all the time, I am surprised to say you are respected. Where we come from, respect is earned, not freely given." Jenna snarled. "I sure hope you have better manners than that!"     "Young lady, do you know who are talking to? You are talking to the-" Jenna interrupted what Alex was going to say.     "I don't f*****g care who the hell he is. Back home, if people judged us before they knew us, we had nothing to do with them. That isn't about to change. So, you can either help us like the Fire Blooms said or we can just walk back through those gates and figure out our own way around these parts." Jenna snarled.     "You go girl. Protect our honor from these odd people." Joseph encouraged. I raised a brow, but smiled at Jenna's firey glare and protective nature.     "I apologise for insulting you." Stayne said. He looked like he saw a ghost.     "Jenna Kiley Ross," I began. "I am so glad we are friends." I declared happily.     "If you would follow me, I will escort you to our healing wards." Before following Stayne, Jenna gave one last firm glare at the guards, who backed away with slightly wider eyes.     "Welcome to the Kingdom of the Winter Eleves. I am surprised you are not cold from the lack of winter wear." Stayne said. We all shrugged. The cold didn't exactly bother us. We kept our house rather cold. Sometimes it is colder than winter itself. At least that is how I see it.     "Hello brother. I see that you have been brought more injured." A man with ridiculously curly red hair greeted Stayne. He gave us a wide grin before looking at Stayne again.     "Get Miranda and Jared to the healing ward as soon as you can. The soldiers family is here." Confusion swept through me as Stayne said that. "Be quick about it, Tarrant." Tarrant nodded and ran off.     We walked for a while longer before approaching two large doors. Pushing them open, we walked into a busy room. "Healer Vila, I have only one person that needs to be healed. Ignore the rest of the group. They are her friends." Stayne said carelessly. I am really beginning to not like this guy.     "You know, I really don't like you. Do you have a stick so far up your ass that you can't get it out?" Jenna growled. The healers gasped and stood there wide-eyed.      "Jenna, saved your energy for later. You and I get have a physical fight to get your anger out. Sounds good, yeah?" Neil said, attempting to calm Jenna down.     "FIne. No limits?" She questioned.     "No limits." Neil agreed. "Now, please heal Evie. It will do her no good to continue to be injured." Neil said calmly, looking towards the healer. She nodded and gave a gentle smile.      "Can you tell me your name little lady?" She asked me gently. I feel so insulted. I'm not that short.     "Evie Elizabeth Moon." I told her.     "Your father doesn't happen to be be Albert Sonny, right? I know he changed his last name to Moon before leaving us." She asked.     "My father is named Luke and he is the biggest asshole that anyone could ever meet. Albert is my however mant time great-grandfather." I told her. She nodded her head with a small frown.     Healer Vila put some weird sticky stuff on my leg, making my leg tingle. She muttered something in an odd language and the tingle increased. I looked at my friends in disbelief. They just blinked. "Can I be the first to say-"     "WHAT THE f**k?" Adrian was interrupted by a freaked-out Erick. Adrian slapped him, causing Erick to close his mouth and calm down.     "Can we all just assume that we died and entered a completly different world?" Adrian asked.     "Well, if that's the case, shouldn't we be in hell?" I asked. Healer Vila wiped the stickiness off, showing perfectly healed skin. "Alright, that's just weird."     "You wanted us to come here brother?' A lady walked in followed by a man. They looked like twins with their pale skin, blue eyes, and silky brown hair, mixed in with a little red. "Who are these people?"     "Is everyone here rude. Well, except for red-head there. He didn't say anything, but he did give a charming smile." Jenna said. I rolled my eyes and flicked her forehead. Pouting, she backed up behind Neil.     "Do you have any idea as to where you are?" The lady, who I assume is Miranada, asked rudely.     "Hell." I sarcasticly said. She narrowed her eyes.      "I have never had such rude subjects talk to me as so." She said angerly.     "Hold up. Subjects?" I asked in disbelief. "Last I knew, I lived in America, where the is no royalty, unless you are some damn music star. I, along with the rest of my family, do not bow to anyone, nor to we call anyone our queen or king. Just who the hell are you?"     "I am Queen Mirananda. These are by brothers, Prince Jared, Stayne, and Tarrant." She said like we were supposed to be impressed. They have another thing coming to them, because I don't give a rats ass as to who they are.     "Am I supposed to be impressed. Are you guys believing this? They are insane. I think this is some sort of hell where people think they are intitled." I declared. Neil bit his lip while Erick, Adrian, and Jenna looked amused. Jonah and Joseph were out right laughing.     "They're insane." Healer Vila muttered. Smirking I turned back to my friends. This is going to be a much more interesting day.     "Do you see what I see sister?" Jared asked.     "Stayne was right. They are back." Her eyes lit up with something I couldn't place. What have we gotten into?
