Banished
Natalie was walking through the forest near her pack's main house. Her steps were quick angry stomps as she made her way to her tent. Ducking under the flap she was wiping the furious tears from her face. Her alpha Brian Mortar had just told her that she needed to pack her things and leave, she was being banished. Banished?!? The Harvest Moon pack was all she's ever known. Losing it all because no one could find her parents. At seventeen and still a few weeks away from even being able to possibly find a mate she would be completely alone. The idea of being completely alone was pretty terrifying.
Her parents Marsha and Kent had gone off with a few other pack members to run of some rogues that were sniffing around to close to their territory. Everyone had returned later except for her parents. Everyone assumed her parents having grown tired of the pack leader at the time had run off to join those rogues. Natalie refused to believe that, if anything her parents were probably in trouble. Her father was a pack trainer and her mother had worked in the pack clinic. Unfortunately though it had been over three weeks with no sign of either of them. Hazel her wolf couldn't even pick up their scent despite the many times she had gone out in hopes of finding them.
Brian had been made the new pack leader and apparently this was going to be the first thing he decided to do. Natalie began furiously shoving clothes into her backpack. She couldn't believe she used to date him. She used to think he would be the one. Her mate, her protector. Scoffing aloud she shook her head trying to shake those thoughts, those memories. There was a time he used to make her heart float. The look on his face when he banished her was like ice, his voice had been hard and cold. She wasn't a burden, she knew her way around the clinic and had helped her mother out numerous times.
Having most of her belongings packed up now Natalie stepped outside to take down her tent. Hearing footsteps behind her she turned to see Brian marching towards her. She folded her tent and stacked it on top of her backpack securing it. "Don't worry I'm getting out of here already" she huffed. Brian raised an eyebrow at her tone. Sassing the alpha was pretty frowned upon but right now Natalie could care less about respecting him. "There's one more thing I need to take care of before you go" he said calmly. Natalie glared hard at him, her green eyes narrowed. Since he was banishing her from the pack what else could he possibly have to say. "Oh yeah and what's that? she sneered.
Brian let out a low growl at her words and tone. Even if she wasn't a member of his pack anymore she needed to show him respect. He was an alpha and she was acting like he wasn't anything to her. Though given what he was about to do he could he really blame how she was acting. He was kicking her out of his pack and was going to reject her as a mate.
