Chapter 19

When she heard the voice, she did not know what to do as the voice was not so familiar to her, and it sounded frightening as well. She started panicking and was confused. She immediately fell to the ground after hearing the voice and passed out as she was too scared and worried about her safety. Even though it seemed as though she had so much power, she had no idea how to use it very efficiently. She woke up in her room in the diner to the voice of Roberta and was so confused about how she got there. She looked around in order to make sure that she was really in her room, and it seemed that she really was in her room. She also slapped herself so many times in order to further her verification of her location at that moment. She got out of bed and opened her room door. She saw Roberta standing right behind the door, looking on the floor as she was waiting for Jacey to open the door and let her in. She asked Jacey whether she was alright. Jacey told Roberta that she was not so sure whether she was okay or not. Jacey looked so stressed out after she woke up. She asked Roberta about what happened that morning, but Roberta told her that nothing had happened that morning. Since Jacey looked so stressed out, Roberta gave her a hug and told her that everything was alright. She started crying immediately Roberta embraced her. Roberta's top became soaked with tears as Jacey always shed so much tears that it could wet an entire top in under a minute. Roberta knew that and removed her top and gave it to Jacey to cry into. Jacey squeezed the top so much as she cried into it. She just kept on crying and crying, but weirdly enough, she did not know why. After about ten minutes of crying, she gave Roberta back her top even though it was soaked to the extent that she used a little effort to carry it. Roberta asked her whether she would go to school that day or not as time was running out. She totally forgot about school and quickly ran out of her room and headed towards the bathroom, and finished bathing in under a second, and came out of the bathroom.

Roberta was so impressed by Jacey's speed that she stood there and opened her mouth just watching Jacey's speed. She had never seen an assassin as fast as Jacey in her entire career and lifetime. Jacey ran back to her room and pushed Roberta out of her room in a serious but friendly manner. She finished dressing in under ten seconds and opened the door wearing a totally new dress for school as she did not want to miss even one day of school as she saw school as a very rare thing to have as so many people did not have the opportunity to attend school due to various reasons. Access to education was one of the things that made her so grateful to Roberta that she hugged Roberta before she shifted downstairs. She embraced Roberta so passionately that Roberta started to shed tears. Roberta patted her on the back as a way of showing her gratitude for the gratitude that Jacey had decided to show her. Jacey also patted Roberta on her back as she wanted Roberta to be happy. She was so happy that Roberta was happy. When they were done hugging, Jacey ran downstairs. When she sat down to have a meal before heading to school, she remembered that she had not brushed her teeth, so she ran back upstairs. She finished brushing her teeth quickly and came back down to eat the meal that Roberta had prepared for her. She took two huge bites out of the burger which Roberta had made for her and the burger got finished as Jacey seemed to be so hungry that she could eat an entire buffalo that moment. She smiled immediately her teeth sank into the burger and was about to scream very loudly, but Roberta told her not to as people were on their way to work that morning just like every other morning. Roberta gave Jacey a cup of hot chocolate to take in with the burger. She took it down and smiled with so much joy as the food tasted and smelled so delicious and mouth-watering. After eating the burger and taking in the drink, her stomach started to grumble as the food was still not enough to satisfy Jacey. She ignored the stomach grumbling and took her bag, and headed out towards the school. She waved Roberta goodbye and closed the door behind her on her way to school.

She totally forgot that she was in public and shifted to school. She saw her neighbours headed to work on her way to school. She was not focusing on the road while she was shifting and tripped on a stone that happened to be in the middle of the street early in the morning. She rolled over and jumped up and landed on her two feet, surprisingly. She opened her mouth out of shock as she did not expect any of what had happened to happen. She smiled out of excitement. She reached the school on foot faster than she would have using the bus. She screamed out of excitement when she reached the school. The students around her watched her as though she was an insane person. She felt embarrassed as they were staring at her too intensely. She just pretended as though she had not seen them and walked joyously into the lecture hall. She tried calming herself down as she was too excited. She met one of her hallmates at the entrance of the hall. She smiled and waved at her for the first time. The hallmate was so surprised as Jacey had never even looked her in the face directly. She had never even smiled at any of the other students before. She approached her hall mate and asked her if she was hungry as Jacey was still very hungry even though she had eaten a very huge burger and had had some hot chocolate that morning. She grabbed her hall mate by the hand, and they walked side by side while having a chat with each other. Jacey said to her classmate," What is your name, by the way? We are in the same class, right? We attend the same class, right? Engineering? How are you doing, by the way? Are you enjoying the Engineering, by the way? Do you understand? I am pretty confused when it comes to the physics in the engineering course. Could you explain it to me? Are you free, by the way? What do you need me to do? I will do with joy. Tell me. I am listening." The girl responded," Hi, and you are? I can not just tell you my name. If you really cared about my name, would you not have asked me long before today. Anyway, I will tell you my name. I am Dinah. It is nice to meet you. What is your name? I am just kidding, by the way. It is just a little humour. By the way, why do you looked so stressed out this early in the morning. Is it okay if I ask you what happened to you? You do not have to respond if you do not feel comfortable about it. Just be honest with me. I am here for you, and I will listen even if it takes all day to lift the burden off your chest. I am waiting for your response. Please tell me."
