Chapter 17

She just teleported to the diner as she was bored where she was, and she missed Roberta. When she reached the diner, she saw Roberta so worried and stressed out. She walked slowly towards Roberta without making a single sound as Roberta had very good senses. Roberta did not notice Jacey approaching as she was worried about her whereabouts at that moment, and she was deep in thinking. Jacey stretched out her hand and tapped Roberta on the shoulder. Roberta slowly turned around and saw Jacey. She stood up and started crying as she was so happy to see Jacey. She smiled and smiled so much. Jacey hugged Roberta. They did not know what to do as they were confused and so happy. They sat down, and Roberta brought out some pasta for Jacey to eat as she knew that Jacey would be hungry. When Jacey saw the pasta, she removed the two packs of food from her bag. She bought her bag on the way to the diner. She wanted to surprise Roberta with the food as the food looked so delicious and tasty and smelled wonderful as well. She was both happy and sad that the diner and Roberta were safe. Roberta took out some drinks from the fridge and placed them on a tray and brought them to Jacey to have some as it was the time for celebration. When Jacey saw the drinks, she was so happy that she smiled from ear to ear. She removed the two packs of food onto the table, and Roberta took one pack of food to eat. They started eating as they were both very hungry. They had a conversation as well. After the meal, Jacey decided to sleep at the diner as it was too late to go back to her hostel. She fell asleep in a big comfortable couch in the diner. Roberta used a blanket to cover Jacey when she saw that she was asleep. This was because the weather was very cold that night, and Jacey was not really wearing much that night. Roberta turned off the lights in the diner and closed the door behind her as she was leaving to go and sleep in her room as she and Jacey did not share the same room.

Jacey did not like the thought of people getting too close to her as people had the habit of disappointing her whenever she needed them the most. Rose woke up very early that morning as she had some difficulty sleeping because of what she had just gone through. She laid on the bed, looking at the ceiling of the diner reflecting on what had happened that faithful day. She remembered how weak and vulnerable she was that day as she had to be saved by some stranger whom she had no knowledge of. She almost died that day, and that really disturbed her thinking as she thought she was so strong, but she was just weak and could not do anything to keep herself safe. She decided to get out of bed and train herself a little as she never wanted to ever feel weak again to the extent that some stranger had to save her. She went to the training room below the diner and screamed with all her might because the room was soundproof so no one could hear a single sound that came out of that room. She removed her shoes and socks, leaving her bare feet exposed. She set the time limit of the training session on her phone. She took a fighting stance and, after a few seconds, launched herself at the dummy. She kicked the dummy so hard that the components immediately exploded when her leg touched it. She hated the thought of being weak so much that she trained and trained till her whole body felt sore. She pushed through the pain and kept hitting the dummy continuously. She replaced the dummy continuously as her strength kept destroying each one. She kept hitting and hitting the dummy till her hands started to bleed, but she kept pushing through without thinking about the pain. She perfected so many techniques in a period of one hour. She could not rest as she was filled with so much anger and hate towards herself. She went for a bottle of water to drink from the fridge. She saw a shadow pass by immediately she opened the fridge door. She gave a very broad smile as she was so ready to fight as she was filled with so much anger. She opened the door in the cafe leading outside. She opened it slowly as she did not want to wake Roberta up from her sleep. She did not even take any weapon before she went outside.

When she walked outside of the cafe, she looked ahead into the dark but saw nothing and no one there. She was so disappointed that no one was there. As she turned around to enter the cafe, a kick came flying from nowhere. Jacey caught the kick effortlessly and broke the leg of the person using her rage and hate. She turned around and saw that many more people had arrived. She smiled from ear to ear watching them. They all ran toward her without stopping. She calmed herself down and stood still waiting for them to come at her. They came at her with full speed. The first two that reached from her left and right side threw punches at her, but she caught both punches and threw them on the floor. She punched one of them about twice and removed all his teeth. She stepped on the leg of the other one and broke the bone into two, and he could not walk. She smiled when she saw them in pain. More ran towards her and were punched in the stomach or kicked in the face. Not even one of them got out of there without an injury. They were hired to kill her so they could not return without her head, but in the state she was in, not even one of them could stop her. She was so happy while fighting them as she was able to relieve so much stress. More and more of them kept coming at her. She jumped on one of them and used her legs to throw him into the bush. She put one of them to sleep. Some of them had guns, but she did not want them making noise or Roberta would wake up. She shifted and knocked all the shooters in less than a second. She used her smoke ability and clouded the area with smoke which had no smell so that she could reduce the vision of the remaining fighters. She then ran at all of them and unleashed her full anger at each and everyone of them. It seemed to be much more effective than the training session which she was doing. Surprisingly, she was not even sweating a little bit after all the intense fighting. She displayed so many abilities that dawn and had so much fun. She did not want all the fun from that night to end but unfortunately it came to a very quick end as she was using so much strength and speed. She kept the last one of the men standing as she wanted answers to all her questions regarding them. The person shifted out of the cafe's surroundings but he was too slow to outrun Jacey at full speed and even her lowest speed. She chased him and caught up with him in less than ten seconds and jumped on him and brought him down. She got up and saw hundreds of fighters standing there and watching her intensely.
