The contracted marriage

Episode one The clicking sounds of heels could be heard as Peony walked into the headquarters of Gates Hotel, making everyone look at her, creating attention like she is used to. She immediately stopped in the middle of the way and removed her glasses. 👥is that not peony Aiden 👥 She's so beautiful Swaying her hair, she puts her hand on her waist before speaking out loud "Daren Gates, I'm looking for Daren Gates" 👥 Why is she here? 👥Such a scene The receptionist walked up to her. "Ma'am, he is in a board meeting" the receptionist said, making Peony look at her "First of all, it ain't your grandma, so don't call me ma'am, and secondly, I don't care if he's in a board meeting I want him here now" peony said unconcerned "He is really busy right now" the receptionist said making peony cover her ears and screamed Daren's name. Daren POV I was at a board meeting not concerned about what they were saying, and I heard someone scream my name downstairs. Who had the effontery to do that? My secretary rushed in and told me it was peony Aiden, the highly demented lady I was getting married to. I told my secretary to leave her because she would get tired of her tantrums, the scream came again and all the board members looked at me "She's going to eventually stop", I said, and they all looked at me before the scream came again. "You should go see her" Nicky, my friend said, and I groaned before standing up and going downstairs. Writer's POV Daren showed up and peony smiled "Sorry if I caused so much trouble. Fiancé" she said, dragging the last part before adding "I just missed you" 👥 What is she, mental? 👥So crazy Peony smiled and Daren rolled his eyes before walking to the elevator and she trodded along." Why are you here" Daren asked as soon as they got into the elevator. "Can't I see my Fiancé again" she said and pouted before Daren pressed the button, on the top floor. "What do you want" Daren asked as soon as they got to his office. "Can't I come and greet my husband, to be" she said, making Daren glare at her. "What I came with a proposal" she said and Daren sat down "We both don't want this union, so since the pressure from both families is great...." Daren interrupted her "Get to the point" . "I came up with a contract which we last, for a year then we can divorce" she said "Why will I want to sign it, it's your inheritance on the line not mine" Daren said "You don't want a crazy wife" peony said "who told you I didn't" Daren asked Stroking her chin she paused before she said "Just help me will you". "What will I get in return?" Daren asked, "Half of my inheritance". People said "So you are that desperate." Daren paused before adding "I will tell you what I want on the day of the divorce." Peony looked at him with a suspicious look but shrugged the feeling off before bringing out some files. "So these are the rules." #Rule 1: Keep your acting skills top-notch #Rule 2: We can't share the same room #Rule 3: Stay out of my business #Rule 4: Don't fall in love with me "The last rule won't be needed as it can't be possible" Daren said, signing "I'm really attractive, and I know you will have an hard time controlling yourself", peony said and sighed "I won't people the makeup producer did those products because of you" Daren said and peony eyed him before walking out. Flashback "Mum talk to your husband he can't possibly force me to marry a man I don't love" peony ranted "You will learn to love him" Agnes, her mom said, "No wonder you were sold off to marry him, I won't be like you." Peony said and was about to leave when her father's words stopped her "Then you can kiss your inheritance goodbye, I'm sure the orphanage would be grateful". Hearing these words, peony folded her arms around her "You want a wedding. I will give you a wedding", she said and left, stomping her feet.
