HONEYMOON
Gaping at that island’s mansion, I can really say that the Carson’s are incredibly filthy rich, This large island is owned by them, the wedding was held near the beach, with rest houses and cottages. And this place is in the remote part of this island, A modern mansion with bright lights and elegant aura.
“Wife” Ezekiah called me, I who’s still trying to absorb what happened today, can’t still answer him when he started calling me ‘wife’
“Abitha?” He was now infront of me, looking at me, like trying to read my mind
“E-Ezekiah” He smiled at me after seeing me stuttering infront of him, he suddenly reach out his hand, with his palm open, making me reach out too to hold his hand.
“Are you okay? you seems into deep thoughts”
I smiled at him “I’m fine, i’m just mesmerized by the mansion”
he chuckled “Well, pasok na tayo?” ani niya at pinagbuksan na ako nang pinto
When we entered the Mansion, the Outdoor Design of the mansion didn’t justify how elegant it is inside, with paintings obviously cost a fortune, furniture and the Exterior screams wealth and How it is designed not minding how it would cost. This maybe not new to me, I a Figurua is born in this kind of fortune too, with mansions and wealths, My Ancestors are rich, and I can say that i’ve married one same or maybe more richer than me! well knowing he is the successor of Carson Liquors and Winery Co. i’m not that shocked.
“The largest room above is my parents but we’ve had renovations and my room was made the same big now, I think we should check it out” Ezekiah was unbuttoning his cuffs, I gulped, now that we are married and it’s our first night, i couldn’t avoid thinking about what Cassidy and Lane were teasing me for the whole bachelorette night.
Kissing, Cuddling, Smooches, Touching, Making Love! Wifely duties!
“Wife?”
“Ay Duties!” napasigaw ako, he was looking at me confused, I akwardly laughed “Hehe, nothing!” i denied blushing so much
“Let’s go?” he extended his hand, i did accept it but still my mind was going around the corner, the ‘green’ corner
As we walked through the halls of this mansion, i’ve seen different pictures of him, of his parents and maybe their other family members. This place doesn’t seem to have any servants at this moment, maybe they are in their rooms?
“Ezekiah?”
“Yes?” he answered
“Are we alone here? where would the guests staying? our parents?” I asked as we walk
“Yes we are the only people here, They are staying at the rest house near the beach, Our parents probably with the guests too, they want to cater everything and of course give us some privacy” He answered cooly, making my thoughts going to the gutter, Feeling so shy and embarrassed with my imagination, i felt my cheeks heating up!
“P-Privacy?” i stutter, what kind of privacy is he talking about?
“Privacy for the newly weds, for Honeymoon perhaps” he answered chuckling, suddenly turned to look at me
“Ha? H-Honeymoon?”
He chuckled and patted my head, “I’m just kidding Abitha, don’t sweat it”
I sighed in relieved after he said that, we continued walking until we reached a wooden door, simple but still looked expensive, is there nothing cheap in this mansion?
The Exterior was extravagant, the lights were dimmed, colored warm white, with lamps and cabinets, expensive sofa and a large wall flatscreen TV, A king sized bed and furnitures colored cream, white and brown, a design suit for couples. Still there are things tracing to the owner of this Extravagant room, A large frame with his photo, some things present in that room like gadgets and books.
“Feel Comfortable around i’ll just freshen up” He smiled and entered the door, surely the bathroom of that room.
Napahinga ako nang malalim, at pinalibot ulit ang aking mga mata sa loob nang silid, i started to roam around. Una kong pinuntahan ay ang book shelves niya, books about business, astronomy and music was found there, i looked around more, i saw a guitar on the side of his shelf, it’s never knew to me dahil sa dalawang taon na kilala ko siya, i’ve seen him play guitar, he’s really good at playing it.
Ilang minuto akong nag libot sa loob nang silid na iyon, i want to familiarize things, nang makontento ay umupo na ako sa sofa, i felt my phone vibrated because of different notifications, i opened it. Different tags of stories in different social media platforms from my relatives and some who were present in the wedding, nakita ko rin ang tag na photos at stories mula sa dalawa kong matalik na kaibigan, Lane posted a picture of Him with me and Ezekiah, after the wedding and in the reception with a caption “It was enchanting, Congratulations to the newly weds!”
I checked his ig story too, it was a picture of the three of us, Cassidy, me and Lane. i was still wearing a bride robe, the same with Cassidy but with just a sky blue robe, and Lane in his blue Button’s down sleeve shirt and slacks. It was our outfit for the photoshoot hours before the wedding. He has many stories related to the held event too.
Next i checked Cassidy’s. Napatampal ako ng noo nang makitang video iyon ng halikan namin ni Ezekiah, naramdaman kong uminit ang aking pisngi habang pinanuod ito, it lasted twenty seconds, rinig na rinig ko pa ang tili niya sa background, she also tagged me with our selfies, getting ready for the wedding in her ig story
she also tagged me in her ig posts, it was our before the wedding photoshoot, pictures after the wedding, Her with me and Ezekiah. “Congratulations to our newly wed, Mr. and Mrs. Carson, i hope for a prosperous years for both of you! <3” she captioned
i liked both of their post, after i’ve done it, i opened our group chat since Lane’s messaged suddenly popped out of the notification.
Lane_Vil: Hey Mrs. Carson, unexpectedly you’re online
AbithaDionne: Unexpected?
Lane_Vil: Duh! it’s after the wedding, night, dapat ay may ginagawa ka o rather ‘KAYO’
Ramdam na ramdam ko ang pag init ng pisngi ko, pustahan man ay siguradong namumula ako ngayon, hindi lang sa hiya kundi narin sa kung gaano ka direkta kung makapagsalita si Lane, walang paligoy ligoy.
AbithaDionne: You expect too much Lane! wag ka ngang masyadong berde! saka maghunos dili ka diyan wala pa akong plano no!

CDelaney_Dawson: I heard both of you is in the island mansion, How’s the place Mrs. Carson??
I just couldn’t stop getting embarrassed, both of them won’t stop teasing me
AbithaDionne: It’s breathtaking, the mansion was modern type and the exterior design didn’t justify how elegant it is inside.
After i’ve sent it, suddenly a video call popped, Lane wanted a conference call.
“Hello our newly wed!” both of them said in unison, they are together in a room
“Oh?” I asked, both of them smirked at me
“Suot suot mo parin ang dress buti hindi pa hinuhubad?” nakangising ani ni Cassidy, after she said it, i diverted my attention to what i am wearing, i’m wearing a puff sleeve hepburn dress with a slit, it was colored white. I’m wearing this since the reception after the wedding.
I looked flatly at her, alam ko kung ano naman ang iniisip ng bruhang ito, “As what i’ve said i’m not ready for any intimacy in this marriage, tumigil na kayong dalawa”
Bungisngis lang ang sagot nila, habang may pinasasaluhan pang pagkain, strawberries and chocolates to be exact. “Both of you are in the same room?” tanong ko
“Yep!” Cassidy answered popping the p. “Your parents let us be in one room since they believed we’re in a relationship, they said they trust us and we know our limitations” tawang tawang pagpapatuloy pa nito.
“Who wouldn’t think we’re in a relationship when you always throw yourself to me!” nakasimangot na sagot naman ni Lane, i chuckled when they started bickering again.
“You’re in your room na ba?” tanong bigla ni Cassidy, I nodded for a answer
“Patingin!”
I sighed and flip my camera, pinalibot ko ang aking phone para ipakita ang kabuohan ng silid. timing na timing nang gumawi ang camera sa pinto nang walk-in closet, biglang lumabas si Ezekiah, only wearing a cotton sweat pants and nothing on top, may towel na nakasabit sa leeg nito at basang basa pa ang buhok, he was wiping his hair at the moment he went out.
Tili nang dalawa ang narinig kong reaction dahil siguradong nakita nila ito “Ang Hot oh my god!” tili pa ni Cassidy, at dahil naka loud speak ang tawag ay nakuha agad ang atensyon ni Ezekiah.
“s**t!” nagmamadaling ani ko at binaba na ang tawag
“You okay?” He asked
“a-ahm, okay lang” akward akong natawa, i turned of my phone because it won’t stop beeping because of Lane’s and Cassidy’s messages.
“You’re talking with your friends?” Tanong niya at umupo na sa pangisahang sofa na nakaharap sa inuupuan ko ngayon
“yes, video call” sagot ko at tinago na ang phone sa loob ng pouch ko, he nodded and looked at me intently, seconds turned to a minute that i couldn’t stop myself asking him
“bakit?” tanong ko na nagaalinlangan, he was staring at me like he wanted me to say something
“What do you want to do for our honeymoon?”
Natigilan ako sa tanong niya, anong gusto kong gawin sa honeymoon namin? i don’t know of course! all i know is that honeymoon is a vacation spent by the newly weds after the wedding. “hindi ko alam” sagot ko
He rested his arm in the armchair and lean on it, still staring at me with his intense brooding eyes, he seemed trying to read me and waiting for my reaction in every word he speaks.
“We will be staying here in the Island for our honeymoon, our parents and the other guests will be going home tomorrow.” ani niya tutok na tutok ang tingin sa akin
Ngumiti ako at tumango, alam ko naman iyon dahil iyon ang nasa plano. Well be staying here for two weeks, for the honeymoon
“Is it okay with you? pwede tayong mag out of the country if you want” ani nito
I shaked my head “I’m okay here in this island, this place is great and the scenery is breathtaking, and also last holidays My parents and I traveled around Europe, no need for travel abroad”
He smiled and nodded. minutes of sitting there a realization came through my mind.
“Ezekiah?”
“Hmm?” he answered, he was now holding his phone
“Where should I sleep?” the question got his attention, he looked directly at me after hearing it.
“We will be sharing room since now that we are married” ika nito sa seryosong boses
“But that’s not really necessary right? i won’t mind being in the guest room”
Napahinga siya nang malalim sa sinabi ko, his thick brows creased but still he was trying to make himself look calm. “We will be staying in one room in this island or when we go back to the city, we are now married and even so i won’t do anything that will make you uncomfortable”
Napatanga ako sa sinabi niya, did i offend him? s**t! “Oh! no that’s not what i meant!” nag papanic na ako sa sasabihin ko “I know you won’t do anything that would make me uncomfortable, i just want to give you your personal space?”
He chuckled after hearing my explanation, I tore my eyes off him, We’ve been together for years now, two years to be exact and still continuing, still i’m not used of his presence, maybe because his presence scream dominance and ruthlessness.
With his dark brooding eyes, proud nose, his dark thick eyebrows, his lips and sharp jaws not to mention his tan gold skin and his body! He has the muscle in the right places, his not too bulky but still he was massive. He stand surely six feet tall, I looked so tiny near him
“We’re now man and wife, my personal space now is yours and yours is mine too” He smiled at me that i may say a dangerous smile?
“Bu-“ i wanted to rebut
“No buts, I want this marriage to work”
