22. Do you have any idea how breathtaking you are?

The sound of footsteps causes me to wake, seeing Andrea stumbles up the stairs. It's very early in the morning and the sun is about to show it's self from behind the mountain. Dandy and I moved down on the mattresses before we fell asleep on the couch.

Dandy is lying on me with her cheek resting on my shoulder. It makes her exposed for me to kiss her forehead. She cried herself to sleep last night. I think I scared her way too much when I fell through the ice. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, but not long after the most amazing thing in the whole world also came true.

Dandy kissed me and it was not just a kiss. It was my first and it made my body paralyzed, which the second kiss also did. I thought I had ruined everything I had with Dandy, but she just needed some time to think about it, I guess.

Now I have her, I think. We haven't really talked about it, or I have not talked about it with her. I couldn't really when she was holding onto me while crying. Maybe I should just wait and see how this day is going to be. With that, I am going to let Dandy control everything.

After Dandy woke up, I could see how tired she was. Her eyes have been half-closed ever since and she is yawing all the time now that we are sitting on the couch. It's been some few hours since we stood up with the sun on our face.

Still, Dandy hasn't made a move or showed anything on her face from the day before. She is just staring at the TV as if nothing happened. I thought, but then she rests her head on my shoulder. The worry in my stomach fades as I smile. I lean on her as well and breathe in her sweet scent.

Then my eyes widen as she cups my cheek and kisses the other one. I try to hide my big smile, but I can't. Okay, my favorite thing in the whole world is when Dandy kiss me. Don't care where, because it still makes me shiver and my stomach feels like I am on a roller-coaster. Dandy is watching me very strangely.

"What?" I ask, but Dandy just shakes it off. Then she smiles as she leans in to put her lips on my cheek again. Which makes me feel the heat in them, now she is just teasing me.

"Stop." I chuckle and tackle her down on the couch. I trace my thumb on her cheekbone. Her cheekbones had always fascinated me. Just as the reason for her isn't talking. I move my fingers along the scar on her neck, while I feel Dandy's eyes on me. Then I lean down to plant a kiss on her wounded neck.

"You know, nothing is going to change if you just told me what happened to you." I tell her softly as move her shirt to see the scar on her shoulder.

"I still think you are as beautiful as the first day I saw you." I smile at her, she raises her eyebrows surprised.

"Don't look at me like that, do you have any idea how breathtaking you are?" I say with my eyebrow raised.

"I mean that, Dandy. You are so gorge..." She put her lips on mine, making me shut up and I feel my toes curl. She pushes me lightly back and still I struggle to open up my eyes, but when I do Dandy watch me strangely again. That makes me realize why.

"It's your fault. You kiss the sense out of me." I tell her and she presses her lips together to hide her amusement. I watch her annoyed, because of that.

"It's not funny." I grumble, but then I smile as she kisses my cheek. I wrinkle my nose of how annoying my reaction to her soft lips on my skin is, but I am never going to stop her. I take a deep satisfying breath as I rest my cheek on her shoulder and I smile as I kiss her neck. It surprises me that she tilts her head.

"You are ticklish!" I say loud as I sit upon her with a huge grin on my face. Dandy watch me intimidated as I just found out her weakness. I smile slyly at her as I move my hands upon her sides of her stomach. When I poke her, she rushes up and wraps her arms around me. Holding me tight as I laugh at her.

Then I close my eyes as I feel her forehead leaning on my temple and her lips on my cheek, very gently and slowly. I lay my arms around her neck, forcing her to not leave. I like the feeling of her warm, soft skin on mine. Dandy takes the hint and I smile as she nuzzles my cheek, and then lay her lips on my skin again.

"Okayyy." My cheeks turn warm by the sound of Andrea's awkwardness. Dandy lets me go and I look at my cousin embarrassed as she comes down the stairs. Then she looks through the kitchen to find something to eat. Dandy kiss my forehead before she falls down on the couch. I am just sitting on her, smiling as she stares at me. I hope she can look at me like that for a very long time because that smile on her face makes me feel the happiness in my heart.

It's a new year today, and I can't wait to see the fireworks, but right now Dandy is lying next to me on the mattresses, staring with her amazing eyes. It's the middle of the night and neither one of us is giving in to sleep. Feels like we are having a staring contest. I roll my eyes, giving in to my smile and lean in to kiss her forehead.

"You are cute." I tell her. Dandy wrap her arm around me to push me closer to her. She surprises me with that she moves her hand under my T-shirt and stroke me on the back. I close my eyes and sigh with a grin on my face as I bury my cheek in her chest. The tiredness is taking all over me now, because of her soft movement on my skin.
