chapter 2

as i awoke the plane was just about to land. apparently it took us nine hours to get here. plus as i opened my eyes it was raining and lightening. i rolled my eyes at this. this sucks. if its not snowing its rain and lightening.

i wanted to grumble out loud but didnt.

as the plane landed. Me and my uncle got off and into the cold night. i shivered as the rain and cold wind hounded on me.

As i got into the black car though I started to warm up.

As the car started to move... in about 20 minutes we came to a silver Golden gate with fairy's and other supernatural creatures on it. it was kind of cool. The gate open and then we were at the dorms. At first I thought it was just a building.

Until we went into a tunnel and came out the other end. Then we were surrounded by four other five story buildings. I could see lights all around us dancing in the rain. I was in awe of the place. The pictures in the brochure never did it justice.

My uncle pulled up to one of the small buildings that said human on it.

"the teachers dorms are on the other side of the school. someone will be here to show you to your room. then tomorrow they will show you around to your classes and other things....Mandy...be nice!" he told me. I just looked at him like he was crazy. I was always nice at my old school. unless someone was being a jerk or an ass hat.

I was going to tell him this. but decided against it. so I lowered my head and nodded. i got out of the car with my brother backpack. i watched as the car pulled away.

i sighed as i did. then i felt a hand on my right shoulder. i almost squeeked but didn't as i turned around.

There standing in front of me was a beautiful dark blue checkered skirt and white tee, smiling, long blond hair girl with cute glasses.Her eyes where a hazzel color. She was also standing under a very big umbrella that covered me to. i appreciated it. i smiled up at her.

"hi im cassandra...you must me Mandy?" she said holding out her right hand.i took it and shook it.

"Follow me please and welcome to fluorescence academy!" she told me as we headed inside.i just smiled as I followed her.

as we ended up inside I gasped. the place was beautiful. it had white walls with oil paintings and black and grey flooring. it also had crystal chandeliers for lighting.

Cassandra put away her umbrella by the door way. we then headed to the eight elevators. we got into one and headed up to the fifth floor.

Cassandra was a talkative person and lively. as we got to the fifth floor I barely remembered what she was saying. the elevator opened up and to streaming hall way we intered. she took me down to the end and swiped a key card with my name on it. she opened my room. I peeked inside.

the room had a large canopy bed with a nightstand with my glass white lamp. I also noticed it had a balconey, bathroom and closet. the carpet was a dark grey and the walls where white. I stepped into further and noticed some things where in boxes. it must be my things.

"I'll see you tomorrow at 8:00 am for breakfast okay!" she said. I nodded my head yes. "Here's your key card and also here's your shopping card that your uncle gave you!" I looked at it and wanted to shove it up a wall. I wasn't a charity case. I was taught to work for my money or save it. I just nodded at her. she walked away and closed the door. leaving me alone to unpack. so I did.

it didn't take me long. I only had two boxes and one suitcase of clothes. the boxes had posters of Linkin park from my brother. I just put that up with thumb taxes I had in there. Then I grabbed my clothes.

I halled the suitcase in the closet. Of course the closet was big. it also had a mirror and a dresser in it as well. it also had 12 of my uniforms. at least I didn't have to buy them. I shrugged my shoulders and started to unpack.

when I was done. I looked around. everything was in order. to my closet and black and blue bed cover.

I decided before I went to sleep to get some fresh on the balconey. I changed first into a black tee and black gym shorts that where my brothers. most of the cloths I had where of him.

I went in to the balcony. the rain stopped and a warm breeze came threw. it felt nice. I herd music play all around me. it was maddening. I looked around some more I could barely see anything. until the moon peaked out.

then right across from me I saw a beautiful man. he had silver hair and wore all white. I could barely see his eyes. but I bet they where beautiful in color. he was staring into the nothingness of the night. then....he turned his direction on me or at least I thought he did. I shivered and went back inside and closed the sliding glass door.

I went to the bathroom and did my thing. then I got into bed. my thoughts raced on the guy. but then....it raced to my brother. I felt a tear drop from me. I harden my heart at that moment. I promised myself I want going to cry after the accident and my grandma's death. I closed my eyes and did a prayer to God and my family. then I drifted off into sleep
