chapter 3

I awoke to a ponding headache and an annoying pounding on the door.

I looked at the alarm clock on my night stand and realized it was a few minutes past eight. I got up quickly and almost fell over.

"hold on!" I yelled. the pounding intensified. I quickly went to my closet and got dressed into my blue checkered skirt and white tee shirt with a blue tie. I also put on dark blue flats I had for the uniform. apparently it was required to wear as well. how they got my shoes size I never noticed.

as soon as I was dressed. I went to open the door. Cassandra was there with bright eyes and cheery smile. I wanted to go back to sleep.

"hello sunshine...how did you sleep?" she asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders and answered her.

"Not bad....you?" she just smiled at me. she then gave me a piece of paper.

"what is it?" I asked gently grabbing it from her. I looked at it. it was my schedule for classes.

I had supernatural art, supernatural history, supernatural everything. well except the art class...it was hard and I wondered why I was here to begin with?

i folded my paper and put it in with my school bag. luckily it had a strap on it. so it was easy for homework, pens and notebooks. which is what was in there. now that I looked at it.

Cassandra pulled my arm and grabbed my key card and the other one and off we went to the elevator. as soon as we got in she pushed the zero button for the bottom floor. I thought it was for the way we came in. but nope.

as soon as we hit a certain point the elevator became glass view. what I saw made my mouth drop. it was an underground mall underneath the dorms. it was amazing. I wondered how they built it.

as soon as it hit bottom we were let out and she pulled me to the left. we headed towards a small stair case into a large door way. in there was a large spacious dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cassandra pulled me off to the side into a table on the corner. I watched other students fill in. I noticed there were only a small group of human people here. possibly around 57...the rest where a bunch and a bunch of supernatural people.

so many people where talking and then everyone went quiet. i looked at cassandra. i was going to ask her what's wrong? but i noticed she was looking at a small group of people walking in. i noticed this group of people where men with gold trim on there uniforms. then i noticed at the center was the guy i seen from the last night. he was dressed in all white with silver trim. he was just to beautiful for words. he was laughing with five others. then his eyes found mine. my heart did a double take. his eyes so bluish grey just hit me. he looked away from me then. it was only a second anyways he looked at me. but from that second my heart lept.

i was glad i was siting down or elts i think i might of fainted. i mean the other guys where fine and dandy. but this one just blew my mind away. a woman came up and held his arm. just like that spell broken. people started talking again.

cassandra was smiling at me as she sat down across from me.

"who is that?" i asked her. nodding my head towards the center of the room. where now i noticed was set up nicely and reserved.

"that's prince julian of vampires, werewolves, witches, and dragons!" she said in awe. "he just started this year!" she whispered. i nodded my head in surprise. who knew id be starting off with the airs of airs of supernatural at school. i was told no royal was allowed in this part of the world. i wondered what changed?

i watched as the girl next to julian clung to him. she was beautiful long dark hair and green eyes and she wore the color blue uniform for human.

"who's that next to him?" i asked her.

Cassandra looked down at the table.

"that's lucy! shes the most riches person hear this year!" she said bitterly. i looked at her like she grew another head. she just gave me a crooked smile.

"im the second!" she told me. i nodded my head in understanding. to be honest i was about to freak out.

"do you want anything for breakfast?" cassandra asked me all of a sudden. i just shook my head no. even thou my stomach rumbled. i just haven't had much of an appetite in the last month or so after the accident and my grandma passing. but i didn't tell her that.

i felt a small animal touch my legs then. i looked down. there cuddled between me was a black and white kitten. i bend down and picked it up. it meowed and purred in my ear. it even licked my finger.

"becareful...it must be one of the witches cats!" Cassandra warned me. but the little one just kept on purring. i fell deeply in love with it.

"angel...angel you silly kitten... where...? Oh there you are!" said a girl with long black straight hair and tan skin with green bluish eyes. she wore the purple color for witch uniform. she was stunning. to be honest they all where.

"hi im Mandy!" i told her. the girl smiled.

"im lizz!" she said.

"Hi lizz! how are you?" cassandra asked her.

"im all right...!" lizz looked at me. "but to be honest i never thought this little one would find a home and so soon!" she said smiling.

i was about to say something when someone called lizz away. she nodded and walked off. i just looked st my new companion and smiled. i always wanted a pet. But my grandma wouldn't do it for some reason.

about 15 minutes later a bell rang then...

"time to show you your classes and other areas of the school!" Cassandra told me as she picked up her left over food. i nodded my head at her. we left the dinning hall then. with my kitten at my heels.
