Roxie rubbed at her temple. She could feel a migraine starting from too much happening in such a short period of time, and exhaustion. It was as though her body and brain had reached their limit and just refused to take any more. But before she could even contemplate how to get rid of the current problem at her doorstep, Alaric's body swayed like a tree branch in a storm, his center of gravity shifted, he lost the support of the wall, and nearly fell to the floor like a bag of potatoes.
