Goddess knew how long I sat here with Reina’s lifeless body cradled on my lap. All I knew was that the howling and pain hadn’t stopped. Scar had shut the world out. That was the best thing he could do before going feral.
I looked down at her again as the tears flowed freely. This isn’t fair. This can’t end like this. I just got her.
