The next day finally came and this time the weather couldn't be more perfect.Lyra knew that this time there was no way to avoid the mission and that she had to fulfill it. she felt a lump in her throat but quickly got over it, starting to put her armor and equipment on her one by one. When she was ready, she finally left the inn and set out towards the cave where the talisman was believed to be hidden. The cave was notorious for being dangerous, with treacherous terrain and deadly creatures lurking in the shadows. As she made her way inside, Lyra felt a sense of unease. But she pushed on, determined to complete her task. As she made her way deeper into the cave, Lyra felt a presence behind her. She quickly drew her sword, ready to defend herself. But when she looked more carefully he realized that the mysterious being had disappeared. "weird" said Lyra, continuing to walk closer to the cave's heart.Following the path she reached the place she was preparing for. It was massive, filled with gold coins, jewelry, gems and all sorts of hidden treasures, but she needed to stay focused. Her mission was nothing about wealth, it was about the artifact which was needed in order for the castle to be protected from any evil. Suddenly, a bright light was revealed behind the golden dunes of coins. It was the artifact. Lyra heard rumors that it was called “the heart of the castle” but she never thought it would be a heart-shaped crystal big enough to be held with both arms. When she took a few steps forward, the dunes were starting to disassemble, reveling in dark blue scales, blazing eyes and some enormous fangs. That dragon was nothing she could ever imagine, not even in her worst nightmares. The heroine pulled out her sword from the sheath, trying to guard herself from the protector of that cave, but a single strike from it's strong tail was enough to send her straight into a cave wall. Almost unconscious, she saw the dragon's eyes staring right into her soul, ready to devour her alive. Right as she thought that was the end of her, she noticed the rage in the dragon's eyes vanish and what was once pure fury turned into pain. Looking up, Lyra noticed a dark figure under the dragon that stabbed him with a keen blade right in the neck. Blood was gushing everywhere, but that didn't scare her, she was just relieved she was alive. Now another problem has come up. Who the hell was the person that had just saved her? Rushing to get up and get a glance of them, exactly like they appeared, that mysterious person disappeared. The heroine's mind was still filled with adrenaline from what just happened but she instantly remembered about just as the dark figure, it was gone..ut the artifact. Struggling to find her balance again, she looked at where the heart of the castle was placed before, but Knowing that the dragon could get up any second, Lyra hurried out of the cave to where Pheonix was waiting for her. Mounting him, she couldnt stop thinking about that person, about where the heck that artifact vanished and what she was going to do. The girl felt lost, but as one would expect, she decided to fulfill her purpose and find what she was looking for, both the heart and her saver.
