As the heroine entered the throne room, she could feel the weight of the Queen's disappointment bearing down on her like a heavy cloak. The Queen, seated on her throne, stared down at the heroine with a stern expression. "Well, where is it?" the Queen demanded, her voice cold and sharp. "I'm sorry, Your Highness," the heroine said, bowing her head. "In the cave the artifact was placed was also a dragon and it was so close to eat me alive, but a mysterious man helped me put him down and when I looked back to see who he was. he dissapeared and when i turned to take the artifact it was missing too." The Queen's eyes narrowed, and her lips curled into a sneer. "You can't be serious. The artifact is missing again? I thought you were the best heroine existing! You were entrusted with a task, and you failed to complete it. Do you have any idea how important that artifact is? It's invaluable, and now it's lost forever." The heroine felt a pang of guilt and shame wash over her. She had wanted nothing more than to succeed in her mission and make the Queen proud. But now, she had let her down, and the consequences were sure to be severe. "I'm sorry, Your Highness," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. The Queen leaned forward, her eyes blazing with anger. "Sorry isn't good enough," she hissed. "If you don't retrieve that artifact within 3 months, I'll have no choice but to put a curse on you. You'll never be able to lift a finger without feeling the weight of failure on your shoulders." The heroine felt a chill run down her spine at the Queen's words. She knew that the Queen was not one to make idle threats, and the thought of being cursed was terrifying. "I'll do my best, Your Highness," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "I won't let you down again." The Queen's expression softened slightly, and she leaned back in her throne. "See that you don't," she said. "You're a talented young woman, but talent alone is not enough. You must prove yourself worthy of the trust I've placed in you." The heroine nodded, her throat tight with emotion. She knew that she had a difficult task ahead of her, but she was determined to succeed. She would not let the Queen down again. She was very exhausted after this full day and trudged back to her house, her heart heavy with the weight of her failed mission. She couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment that the queen had expressed. She knew she had let down the people who depended on her. As she entered her house, she slumped down on her couch and let out a deep sigh. But besides all the discussion with the queen, she was still overwhelmed by the mystery of the mysterious man who helped her. But she knew that this thought wouldn't be more than a distraction from her mission. She tried to take it out of her head even if it was quite impossible. She began to clean her weapons, wiping away the grime and blood from the cave. As she worked, she couldn't help but think about what had gone wrong. She had always been so confident in her abilities, but now she felt like she had let everyone down. "Come on Lyra, just forget it" she said to herself, because she just couldn't forget about the one who helped her and the burning desire of finding out who he was. Her wounds ached, but she pushed through the pain, determined to be ready for the next mission. Once she had finished cleaning her weapons, she turned her attention to herself, cleaning her wounds and bandaging them up. She knew that she needed to take care of herself if she was going to be able to continue fighting. She crawled into bed, her body aching and her mind racing. She couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment and failure. But as she lay there, she began to realize that she couldn't let the mysterious man just go away like that without saying at least a thank you to him. She tossed and turned, unable to sleep as the thought of wanting to see him once again. The next day, she resolved to focus on her mission, but she couldn't help but wonder if she would better go back to the cave and find some indications of him. Before she went outside, she looked into the mirror and said to herself "Lyra, look at you, what are you doing? how can you be that silly to just throw away your mission for a stupid boy". She knew she was wrong, but she grounded that she couldn't just let it go. When she got back to the cave, she searched the entire place for any clues to his identity. She found nothing but a faint scent of lavender and a small piece of cloth that seemed to have been torn from his cloak.Determined to find him, the she ventured out into the surrounding forest, asking locals and travelers if they had seen anyone matching his description. But no one had seen anyone like him. Her search continued. She scoured every town and village, every forest and mountain range, but her efforts were in vain. She knew her time was leaking and she needed to find the artifact but it was just so hard live with that confusion. As time passed, the heroine began to wonder if the mysterious man had been a figment of her imagination, a product of the stress and pressure of her mission. But the memory of his presence, his scent, and his voice remained vivid in her mind, and she couldn't shake the feeling that he was real. Finally, after days of searching, Lyra came across an old woman living in a remote cabin deep in the woods. The woman listened to her story and nodded knowingly. "I know who you're looking for," she said. "He is a hero from a hidden part of the world. He appears only when he wants and disappears just as quickly." The girl was both relieved and frustrated. She had finally found someone who knew about the mysterious man, but it seemed as though he was beyond her reach. The old woman continued, "But do not despair, my dear. If he is meant to be found, he will reveal himself to you once again." Lyra was so confused. "But why would he appear right where i was?" asked her, "That s just another mistery to be found sweetey" With renewed hope, the girl set out once more, determined to continue her quest and to one day find the mysterious man who had helped her in the cave. She knew that she might never find him, but the memory of his bravery and kindness would remain with her forever.
