Eva rolled over, twisting her legs in the duvet. The bed was so cozy; she didn’t want to admit to waking. And yet, something nagged at her. She had arrived here with a man. He had known her yet she could not remember him. She sat up, brushing dark hair out of her face. Who was he? The room was empty, and Eva started to get the feeling she would never know. It was a feeling much akin to her experience a couple of days ago. Eva was just on the verge of panicking when there was a knock at the door. “Room service,” a friendly voice called, and in he walked. “They don’t serve breakfast on the weekends, so you have to fend for yourself.
