“I can’t believe you still think it’s Sander,” said Kiko as he pulled out of the hospital’s parking lot. He felt like his mind was spinning with all the recent information, with trying to make it all fit together the way it should. It was like he had the right puzzle now, but not all of the pieces. He wondered if this was what Dom felt when thinking of tackling a mystery.
“Well, obviously they’re in on it together,” said Dom. “I always thought it was possible Sander had an accomplice. Obviously Beverly supplied the e coli beef and helped cover for him where he needed it. Maybe she even broke into his room for him, so that he’d have an alibi while it was happening.”
