When Kiko pulled into the lot at the festival grounds and circled around looking for someplace to park, Dom found himself surprised the man hadn’t brought up contacting the police again. He had been expecting Kiko to insist on it once they had gotten to their destination, prepared himself for dealing with having been momentarily placated. But Kiko said nothing, just parked and got out of the truck. “Let’s split up,” said Dom as he walked around to Kiko, thinking this would be faster. It was already six and he wanted to speed this entire process up. The festival grounds were large, and they could cover it twice as fast. “What?
