Elizabeth sat as patiently as possible waiting for Selene to come and help her. When she got there, she already seemed far more comfortable now that Cordelia had left – she wasn’t scared to walk in the halls alone.
Elizabeth tried to ignore the vicious sting as Selene swabbed the wound with antiseptic on a sterile pad. She stared out of the window trying to focus on something until Selene addressed her and she couldn’t keep on trying to distract herself anymore.
“These are going to need to stay on for the next 48 hours, and you should make sure they stay dry. If you see blood soaking through or they get wet at all, tell me so I can change them. After that they need changing once a day for a week or two depending on how fast they heal.”
