Chapter Twenty Four: Waiting On Tomorrow

Adam Sunday was rather uneventful. Because of what happened last night, we were all feeling down. None of us were in any state of mind to go out in public even if it was to watch some rowdy cowboys get roughed up by bulls and broncos. Instead, the band and I Skyped to talk music. Their lawyer, Rick, joined in too in order to be a witness and write up the contract. They told me what they expected from me, I in turn told them what my terms and conditions were and we negotiated pay and royalties. Luckily, our needs, wants and expectations were for the most part aligned so it didn’t take long for everything to get worked out.
