Something about Angela’s attack and the scene wasn’t sitting right with me. There was something off about it…
I sat at my desk, rummaging through the past cases here in Stanislaus before picking up the other unsolved cases that were linked to the same killer from other states. The killer started in Maine (5 cases)—on the complete opposite side of the country— then moved to Michigan (3 cases), Louisiana (6), Colorado (8) and now was in California. In my state. In my very county. The total kill count across all five states was 25 with his twenty sixth victim alive.
From what I had read up on previously and taken away from the reports was that this serial killer had adapted over time. But there was a definitive pattern that couldn’t be ignored. Each one of the victims in all
