We quickly run through the remainder of the ceremony and head over to the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner meal. I realize as soon as I cut into the pink center of my chicken that the meat is undercooked. I make a quick, loud announcement to the group not to eat it, and the plates are quickly whisked back to the kitchen.
Just as I’m beginning to think that I can resolve any problems that might arise––producer-created or natural––it’s time to watch the pre-wedding show that will completely deflate my sails.
With the exceptions of Roxy and Kai, our entire group gathers around the big-screen television in the lobby to watch the show as it streams live to the entire world via the magic of the internet.
