It faced me.
I held my knife. Readying myself.
But something halts it from its dash towards me.
An axe on its skull.
It was removed then plunged again.
It was Joshua.
Breathing heavily. I nod to him then looked at the door.
Ayen was there. Holding the door open.
Robeen: Everyone. Get inside.
They all ran to get inside. Ayen closed the door behind us then opened her flashlight.
Robeen: What took you so long?
Ayen: I had to search for a flashlight. It’s dark.
After the commotion we caused. It attracted the attention of quite many of them.
Dread and Panic was visible from us.
Rio: Quick! Think... What do we do?
We looked around.
Ian: Look what I just found!
Robeen: Ah yeah! That’s good s**t, fam.

Jenina: Firecrackers, huh.
Joshua: I think it's a good idea though
Steven: Wait, how are we gonna use them again?!?
Robeen: We'll fire this up.
Ian: Throw it away as much as we can from here so they will follow where this will make its noise.

While we were talking, they kept on striking on the glass.
Mark Vincent, Hey, man. They may break the glass, who knows?
Patricia: How much longer? This is freaking me out.
Hersche: Everything is freaking us out.
Robeen: Wait. The glass won’t break easily.
Blooming: Just hurry up!
We ran upstairs...
Chryzalyn: Look, there's a window there.
Christian: Should we throw all of them?
Joshua: No, we should throw at least 3 of them.
Robeen: It'll be easy for them to hear it anyway.
After we threw the firecrackers, the zombies followed where the firecrackers lit up.
When the majority of them left, seeing that our plan worked. I sighed in relief. It looks the same with the others.

When we got downstairs…
Cedrick: There are so many things we can eat here. Let's eat 'em
Joshua: We can eat them, right? I mean, we own it. We own this place.
Robeen: Yeah, sure. Just don’t eat all of it.
Maragreth: It's not like we can though.
Catherine: Don’t be too loud, okay?

We had fun. We ate until we got tired.
Later, I told them to prepare a knap sack containing foods, clothes, weapons etc. so it'll be easier to move out in the morning then we left it there in the 2nd floor.

We changed our clothes. School uniforms into outfits we like. Although, Catherine advised us to wear closed shoes, comfortable jeans and T-shirt
Pollyanna: I'm tired. I think I’m gonna hit the sack.
Chryzalyn: Well, almost all of us are tired and this shop sells beds so, let's all sleep upstairs.
Robeen: Okay but has everyone changed their clothes? 'cause you know, you'll smell like s**t if you didn't
Hersche: I think everyone's clear. We all changed

We went upstairs, to the third floor, to get some rest, 2 on each bed. May seem awkward but we're just so tired so we didn't care. Margareth and I stayed up a little bit longer to see if they all fell asleep then later, we fell asleep.

Patricia, Eliza and Jenina woke me up in the middle of my slumber.
Robeen: why the hell are you waking me up?
Patricia: we heard noises from downstairs.
Robeen: You sure? Maybe it's just your imagination. Go get some rest.
I turned back to my position on the bed.
Elize: It's not our imagination, we're really sure it's real.
Jenina: just wait, you'll hear it too
I sat up, waiting for it.
After seconds, I did hear something from downstairs like something was moving.

I woke Margareth, Joshua and Catherine up and told them that we heard noises.
Later, we told Eliza, Jenina and Patricia to stay there and don't wake the others.

We went for the stairs, preparing for what’s yet to come.

We were on the stairs.
And there we saw a bunch of zombies in the 2nd floor.
I took it all in.
Joshua looked at me like he was tryna keep his cool.
Joshua: Um… What the f**k? He muttered.
Robeen: Jesus! How the hell were they able to--
Margareth: The front door is secured though
Catherine: Maybe the emergency exit from earlier?
Margareth: Maybe, they entered from there, but we weren’t able to hear them.
Joshua: That door won’t open by itself.
Catherine: They wouldn’t be able to open it, too.
Robeen: It’s like somebody let them in.
We were silent.
Joshua: No offense, but you’re blaming someone? Damn.
Robeen: You know what, no time for that. We just gotta get out of here.
We went back upstairs to wake everyone up

We told them what was happening. It wasn't easy waking them up from their slumber though

The hardest one was Rio but when he sat up.
*CREAK*
The bed made a loud noise.
Robeen: f**k—Bro, why you gotta ruin—
I was cut off when Joshua put his palm on top of my mouth.
Joshua: Ssshh, everyone. Be quiet
The zombies might have heard the bed. We can hear them getting closer.

I made a signal to the others to stay quiet then another telling them to move.

We successfully made it downstairs without making any loud noises. While we were silently walking, I pointed to the corner where we left our knapsacks.
After doing that, some got separated from us.

The side of the front door is full of zombies so, Margareth, Joshua and I tried making plans...
Margareth: Okay, you saw, that side is packed. She started in a low tone.
Robeen: How 'bout we try escaping using the door in the back. The one from earlier.
Joshua: We just had that conversation? Didn’t we conclude that maybe they came from there?
Robeen: Do we have a choice?
He was unable to reply.
While we were talking, we heard someone bumped into something, causing it to make a loud noise then we saw Christian...
Robeen: s**t!
I tried to run towards him but Joshua grabbed my forearm.
He was cornered and already bitten…
But Ayen...
Ayen ran to him, Hersche tried to stop her but she refused.
Joshua told Catherine to lead the others to the door she was talking about while Me, Margareth plus Joshua are having a hard time in killing some of the zombies.
I can hear both Ayen and Christian screaming in pain.
I can hear it. Their flesh being ripped.
For a moment there, I want to look, I want to see but... I was afraid... I was afraid that there's something gonna happen if I look.
I was afraid that it might trigger something within me.
