"This is your mother?" Addeline could hear the octave rise in her voice. It didn't matter to her that this woman was pointing a weapon directly at them, she wanted answers.
"You told me your son was killed by his father." Luka looked from Selene back to his mother in pure disgust. "Wow..that's even low for you mom." Melanie teeth grinded into her cheek. What was he doing here? This wasn't apart of the plan. "What are you doing here?" Luka couldn't believe it. After all these years, after everything, that's all she had to say. He took an inward step towards Addeline blocking Melanie's view of her. Melanie smirked. "I see...once trash..always trash." The words rolled off of Luka's back like silk. He could care less what his mother thought of him, especially when it came to Addeline and her family.
Selene looked from Melanie to her son. His protective stance in front of Addeline confirming all she needed to see at the time.
I hope I can trust you human
She thought to herself. She needed to get Melanie out of there and away from them, even if it meant sacrificing herself. "Let's go...I already said I would come willing." She could see Addeline mouth gap open.
Bug A Boo, you need to trust me. I believe in you. Protect our people, protect Ivan...please.
Upon hearing her mother's mind-link, Addeline felt her heart sank. How could her mother have so much faith in her? Didn't she understand how much of a failure she was? Still in this moment, she refused to show any ounce of weakness, Melanie didn't deserve the satisfaction. Taking one last look as her son, Melanie shook her head. She jabbed the weapon into Selene's back forcing her to move forward. Selene's eyes never left Addeline. If this was to be the last time she would see her daughter, she would burn her beautiful face into her memory. She could feel herself being pulled through the portal opened by her assailant.
I love you and your brother Addy...always and forever
That was the last mind-link Addeline heard before her mother vanished.

--Miccoli POV--
I could feel the heat pouring from my body as they shocked me yet again taking every bit of life force from me. My eyes shifted to Ramsey. His pale skin, stained with blood and bruises as he fought to keep his eyes open to return my stare. Tears lurked in the corner of his eyes, he was dying and he knew it. Pain jolted through me as the heat from the beam intensified. They were toying with our bodies. Pushing us slowly to see how much we could take.
"AHHHHHHH!" I could barely recognize my own voice. After what felt like an eternity, my body finally collapsed onto the floor of the metal cage they confined me to. The cool metal doing nothing to absolved the heat as it burned through my flesh.
"How is he doing?" I could hear her voice before I saw her. Melanie stepped from the shadows eyeing me carefully.
"He's extremely strong." Another person replied to which she just shook her head. "I have someone whose even stronger. " Selene stepped from behind Melanie and my eyes widened. "GET THE f**k AWAY FROM HER!" I roared but Melanie only laughed in response. "You're in no position to make demands of me Incubus king." Selene's saddened eyes almost broke me in two. Slowly she walked over to my cage, her eyes traveling from each of our friends back to me. "I-I'm sorry." Her voice was barely a whisper. Tears stained her cheeks as she reached out and stroked my face through the bars.
"I-I should have listened."
"But of course you didn't ..and you call yourself a queen? You're nothing but a pauper playing dress up." Selene winced as Melanie mocked her. She turned to face her.
"What do you want from us?"
A sinister smile formed on Melanie's face. "The safety and insurance of the human race...I want the destruction of all Supernatural and thanks to your arrogance, I'm going to get just that." I struggled to stand as I watched the two women square off. The fact that Melanie seemed unphazed that Selene was free bothered me. Why was she so calm? Melanie took a step towards us
."How fitting that you literally helped build the very weapons that will destroy your kind? That you and your friends energy will fuel the equipment used for your massacre." Her eyes cut into slits. "You all are an abomination. A plague. A virus that needs to be eradicated to ensure that we are safe."
"WE HAD AN AGREEMENT! NO SUPERNATURALS WOULD HARM HUMANS." Melanie's deep laugh at Selene's statement sent chills up my body.
"How could you ever think I would trust the word of a bunch a savages?" I reached through the bars to touch Selene's hand, locking them in my own to keep her from shaking. "You all have powers, and those powers can cause more harm than they ever can do good. It would be a disservice to my race if I allowed you all to continue to exist."
"So that means you have no intention of keeping our other agreement." Selene's words caught me off guard. She turned and allowed her eyes to search mine, and though I couldn't make out what they were something, I knew it was nothing good. Melanie sucked in air and rolled her eyes.
"No I fully plan to keep that one for my own personal satisfaction. Though I'm not sure why you think sacrificing yourself to slaughter first, would save anybody." In a voice so low I could hardly hear her, Selene spoke to me. "I will die happily if that means buying you all enough time to be saved." My mouth gaped open, the air knocking itself out of my lungs. Selene had agreed to die first.
"Wha-what are yo-"
"I love you so much." She said to me backing away from the cage. Hey hazel orbs that once gleamed gold looked lifeless, dull as the tears fell from them. Melanie let out a loud laugh. "You should have chosen a stronger woman Incubus King." I snarled at her, the blood from my mouth hitting the floor of the cage. "You have no idea how strong she is." Melanie smirked and raised her weapon pointing it at Selene's back. "Let's find out shall we?" With the click of a switch, Selene's body jolted and her screams erupted through the lab and the beam shot directly through her.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I want to tell you both a story." Melanie said leaning against the slab that held Ramsey. She looked up at him. "You still alive handsome?" He groaned in response, and she smiled. "Good then you can listen too..in fact." She said pointing towards the other slabs. "You all should listen, I promise it's a good one!" Melanie walked in front of the cage that contained Selene, relishing in how weak she looked as she struggled to breath.
"Oh come on Selene, I heard so much about how strong you are. Don't disappoint me now."
"f**k YOU!" Selene spat at her.
"Ohhh..you got a mouth like your husband..I see why you chose her." She said winking in Miccoli's direction. "Anyway about my story." Melanie pulled a black desk chair up to the cages and took a seat.
"It's about two sisters, who loved one another more than ANYTHING in the world, and how they were separated when one was killed." Images of her sisters beautiful face flashed through her mind, and Melanie couldn't help but momentarily smile. "You see, the older sister was smart. She was tough..strong." She folded one leg over the other. "But the younger, well she was the better out of the two because she was gentle, kind...she-" Melanie words stopped as a lump began to form in her throat.
"She deserved the world. Even though this sister could be anything her heart desired, she chose to be a waitress." A small laugh escaped her. "Her older sister didn't quite understand it, but that didn't matter, as long as she was happy, her sister was happy." Selene breathed in deep, the pain almost unbearable.
"Get to the point."
"DON'T YOU f*****g INTERRUPT ME!" Melanie seethed at her, immediately regaining composure. "I told you..you will like this story." She continued.
"So the younger sister works at a diner right and she was doing SO good! I mean so good. With the help of her sister, she'd escaped a sexually and physically abusive husband, and was on her own making a way for herself, and it made her sister SO proud of her." Melanie lip began to quiver and she turned away. "But-her sister also HATED that she worked nights. Thought it was too dangerous especially in that neighborhood, so they agreed that she would call to check in every night to give the older sister a peace of mind." Something about this story caught Selene's attention, and as she looked from Miccoli to each of friends, she could see that she wasn't the only one.
"One night, the older sister waited and waited but she never called. And when the phone finally did ring some weeks later...it was the police alerting her that there was blood matching the DNA of her sister found in the bathroom of that diner, though her whereabouts was still unknown." Selene could see the tears begin to slowly form in Melanie's eyes. "The older sister was heartbroken. She was destroyed....she...she was broken and she took it out on everyone around her..including her own child until eventually he was taken away from her, leaving her even more alone than she already was." Melanie adjusted herself in the seat as her eyes cut daggers into Selene.
"Years later, as the older sister tries to pick up the pieces of her life, she finds herself walking near that very diner one day, and guess what she saw? Her little sister! Of course you couldn't imagine her disbelief! Her sister wasn't dead! She ran to her and wrapped her arms around her, only to be met with confusion. You see, her little sister had no idea who she was. It was like she was a whole new person. No longer the sweet and loving person, her older sister once knew." A chill ran up Selene's spine.
"No matter how any times the older sister tried to convince her that they were related, that they were close, she kept denying it, saying she never had a sister, and even went as far as demand that she stay away from her, which as you guessed it broke her all over again." She stood and walked over towards Selene's cage and banged on the bars.
"Now, imagine if you will...the older sister being approached by a stranger...a Supernatural who introduced her to a world unlike anything she'd ever seen." Selene locked eyes with hers. "This Supernatural told her that the reason her sister didn't recognize her was because it wasn't her sister Beth, but a shape shifter who's killed her and took her form, all to get revenge against a Supernatural failed experiment who'd hexed themselves into thinking they were just a human like anyone else...a human...named Cassidy."
Miccoli's eyes shot to Selene.
No...it couldn't be
"So you see...I know exactly how unpredictable and selfish Supernatural's can be. In fact, I want to thank you for teaching me that harsh lesson first hand... It's because of you, that all Supernaturals will die."
Selene's eyes widen, and Melanie's clenched teeth could hardly say the end.
"You're the star Selene...this is your destruction...this... is all for you."
