Chapter 3

Damian pov

We were in New York now. Actually this time of the year was usually when me and my siblings go to a yearly vacation. But this year they had the Gala at this time. So we decided that instead of wasting time we could just enjoy our vacation in New York this year.

My siblings and John and Celia, John's mate and Alex my Delta and his mate Rose came for it. We hired a bungalow for all of us to stay during the time. Many people might think that I left my pack just like that without any care. But my brother's Beta and Delta take over the packs security at such time. As Blood Moon Clan is not officially a pack but legally comes under my pack so the Beta and Delta have no compulsion of coming to the Gala. And as a matter of fact they also don't have any interest in these kind of things.

Tomorrow is the day of the Gala we reached here yesterday midnight. As soon as we reached here we all went straight to our rooms and slept. I woke to a knock on my door. "If you won't be down in ten minutes you won't get any breakfast.", it was Rose's voice. Damn..

And here I thought this girl was sweet. It was only 8:30 Am. Don't get me wrong I'm an early riser but, I was awake till midnight why can't they understand? I begrudgingly got up from the heaven called as bed and started to go towards the bathroom when I heard the shuffling of sheets. I forgot, me and Darren shared a room. I kicked him and he fell down the bed with a thud. "What the f**k?", he growled. "The f**k is that Rose just gave a ultimatum that if we don't get down in ten then we'll not get breakfast.", I said already entering the bathroom. He cursed under his breath and got up. We brushed our teeth and and went downstairs. Everyone's faces were as sleep deprived as ours. But Rose and Celia were skipping excitedly serving breakfast.

I chuckled at them and sat down on the empty chairs. "Dude, if my mate is even ten percent like both of yours I am happy single.", Darren said to John and Alex. "Oh honey, trust me when I say, you'll get worse and you'll be whipped by her.", Celia said serving him the bacon. Darren groaned, "Are you trying to jinx me right now?", he asked raising a brow. Celia just shrugged with innocent expressions and continued serving. "What do you make them eat? How can they be this cheerful in the ungodly hours of morning?", I said.

John smiled lovingly and kissed Celia on her lips. Alex just stared at Rose lovingly and she blushed like crazy. "Get a room you guys", Dael said making gagging noises. John pulled away from Celia and she rushed in the kitchen. "I'm jealous.", I said, "If my relation with my mate is anything like this I'm ready to get up at dawn.", I joked. Even if it felt like a joke I was praying for a mate from inside. Me, John and Alex we three were of same age but both of them found their mates this year and I'm still mate less. Any of my siblings haven't found their mates yet. We find our mates after the age of 18. Accordingly Me, Daniel, Darren and Dael should have found our mates, but alas....

"Earth to Damian!", Rose waved in front of me. I shook my head and looked questioningly at her. "I asked what would you like to drink?", she said. "Uhh.. I.. orange juice." I replied. She shook her head and poured the orange juice in a glass and gave me. The food smelt delicious. Me and my siblings didn't live in the pack house. It gave us privacy. Even if the privacy was good but we didn't always have the privilege to eat delicious food. 

"We need to visit the office today.",Daniel said. I sighed and nodded. Our headquarters were in New York. We didn't often visit the office because we had pack duties. There were many trustworthy people who handled the company. 

I finished up my breakfast and went to get ready.

Me, Damian and John went to the office today. It was a surprise visit. As soon as we entered the office, everyone stopped still like they're statues. And then after a moment the whole office was whispering. The managers and Hods came running to greet us. All female employees gave us flirtatious smiles. I smirked inwardly. They weren't very beautiful but not ugly either. But I never bed my employees. So I just kept a cold demeanor and didn't even give them a glance. We reached the conference room and the meeting started. 

The whole day was busy as hell. We went through shitload of reports. At the end of the day we were exhausted. At least I was. I don't know about Daniel. That guy was weird. He is never tired. About John he took many breaks in between. 

At 7 pm we called it a day and told them that we would come again tomorrow. "Dude, that was absolutely exhausting.", John said as soon as we entered in the car. I chuckled at him, "Oh please, you took many breaks in between.", I said. Daniel smirked but remained quite otherwise. We reached the bungalow in fifteen minutes and got out of the car. I went straight to my room where I saw Darren getting ready for something.

"Hey bro!", he said looking at me like.. Well like he wanted to slip away before I came. I raised a brow at him. "What's the plan big boy?", I asked. "Well.. We're in New York and on a vacation. So.. I was just thinking that maybe I could I mean we could go to a club and enjoy.. You know with humans who  wouldn't bother us later?", he asked. I narrowed my eyes at him. Darren wasn't exactly a man w***e like me but he also wasn't a male version of virgin Mary like Daniel. He slept with girls but occasionally. I thought about it... I needed a drink, yes. I also needed a release and without the bloody drama of a Luna. So I looked at him and nodded. His smile widened and he told me that he would wait downstairs for me. I quickly showered and got ready. I went downstairs just in time to see Daniel looking at Darren disapprovingly. I sighed. Daniel Daniel... "You would come to pick us up right?", I asked looking at Daniel. He shook his head in disappointment and disbelief and ignored me completely. "f**k!", Darren groaned as soon as he was out of view. "I thought the plans were over for today.", he said sheepishly. I smirked. We booked a cab and went to this club called Ecstasy.

As soon as we entered the club my senses were overwhelmed with the strong music and the smell of alcohol, sweat and excitement. It took a moment for my ears to get used to the music. Darren disappeared in the crowd as soon as we entered. I went to the bar and sat down. "Vodka.", I said to the bartender. He nodded and immediately prepared me a shot. After 4-5 shots I was relaxing in the drink. We were werewolves it took a shitload of alcohol to make us drunk. I just watched the people on the dance floor I wasn't really into dance but I did it occasionally. I scanned the club for a easy to go girl. Hmm.. A blonde with huge tits.. I smirked and went up to her. "Hey, baby girl!", I said. She smiled up at me flirtatiously pushing her chest up. "Up for a good time?", I asked. She got up took my hand in hers and took me to a rest room in the club. I have to say humans were good f**k. But.. Human or not I was never satisfied with any of them because they weren't my mate. After two rounds of pleasure Kady as she told me her name went away with a blow kiss. I went to a washroom washed my face and went outside towards the bar. I ordered few more drinks and sat there drowning in self pity. After sometime I was close to getting drunk, when Darren came to me his hair messy and his body drenched in sweat. And by the smirk on his face I knew he had a good time.

"Ready to go home?", I asked. "I need a drink first.", he said. He ordered a vodka and I texted Daniel our address so he can pick us up. Me and Darren sat silently drinking our asses off. When I got Daniel's reply it was almost 12:30. We got up and headed outside. Daniel was standing near our car with his usual stone cold face. And across from him there was this group of girls who were ogling him and giggling. I smirked and we went to him. "You've got a audience brother.", I said. He raised an eyebrow and scowled but said nothing. He just silently opened the door and gestured for us to get the f**k inside the car. The whole ride back was silent. Darren was dozing his ass off on his seat, Daniel was glaring and scowling at the road and I.. Well I was just sitting. After we got to our house aka the rented bungalow we got off the car and I kicked Darren to wake him up. He cursed under his breath and got up and we went to our rooms. 

"We're going to office tomorrow. Be ready at 9:00 am sharp.", came Daniel's cold voice just before I closed the door. His tone made me flinch. But I ignored it like always. I just stripped and went to bed.
