CHAPTER 4
Doris and Mark joined his parents in the living room. Daisy noticed Doris had been crying and asked what was wrong. Mark explained about the kids being bullied and how some busybodies were trying to have Orin and Sara taken away from Doris and put in foster care.
“They can’t take those children. Can they?” she asked Glen.
“They might,” said Glen. “If they can slip in and take them, you would have a very hard time getting then back.”
“What can I do?” asked Doris.
“You need to file for custody of them before anything happens. We can make out the papers and have them ready when everything is settled with the trial.” He took out a pad and pencil. “Let me get some information, and I will draw up the papers.”
