CHAPTER 6
After the children left for school the next morning, Mark called Derrick Bear and talked to him about performing the ceremony. Derrick told him he would check his schedule and get back to him. He was out of his office at the time.
The friend Mark had asked to draw up the plans for the house called. He had a rough draft done and asked Mark to come check it out. Mark asked Doris to go along to look at the plans. She agreed, and they headed for town. Mark decided to drive by the building site on the way to see what progress had been made.
“Wow, I’m glad they know what they are doing,” said Doris. “I can’t tell heads or tails about it.”
Mark laughed. “It may look confusing now, but it is coming together nicely.”
