Episode1
"I will shoot you if you take a single step out of here." Pascal pointed a gun at Petra's back, who stood two meters in front of him.
"Why won't you let me go?" Petra spoke without turning around, standing with her back to Pascal.
"I hate unfaithful men like you. You slept with another woman in this hotel. What other reason could be more reasonable?" Her voice was stable and assertive.
"This is a mistake! I didn't do it consciously! Someone must have put something in my drink!" Anger was reflected on Pascal's handsome face. He looked very angry, yet confused.
"Damn it. I'll find the person who set me up! Argh!" He suddenly clutched his head as a dizzy spell hit him.
"Should we get a divorce today?" Petra's suggestion made Pascal's eyes widen in shock.
"I will never sign the divorce papers!" Pascal was stubborn.
"Then, why did you cheat on me?"
"I told you! I was framed! You know, as the city's gang leader, I have enemies everywhere! I was just careless!" A thousand excuses a woman didn't need. Pascal's stubborn nature made Petra bewildered.
"In that case, I'll ask directly." Petra turned to face Pascal, who was leaning against the bed's dashboard. Meanwhile, the gun was still aimed at her. "Why do you want me to stay with you?" Petra asked unflinchingly.
"Because you are mine!"
Petra was silent. There was no significant expression on her beautiful face, as if the answer was boring. "Dear Mr. CEO, I am not a perfect object for your obsession." Petra's demeanor turned cold.
It had not even been ten minutes since Petra caught Pascal making out with another woman in this hotel room. Now Petra was trapped in an annoying debate with Pascal, who refused to admit his fault.
"My wife, Petra. You are my perfect wife. Come here."
"You're asking me to come closer with a gun in your hand?" Petra's voice raised in bewilderment.
"I promise I won't shoot at least your leg if you don't leave this room. Just follow what I say, and you will live normally."
Petra scoffed. Live normally? In the three months of marrying this man, all Petra got was madness. Although outwardly her husband was considered a perfect figure, no one knew that this man was ruthless, killing people without a heart.
But because of the secret mission, Petra had to survive alongside this crazy man.
"What do you want to do to me?" Petra asked when she stopped walking and stood by the bed.
"Hug me." Pascal's words were truly unexpected. Petra was stunned to hear it.
"Put the gun down, and I will hug you," Petra said.
Pascal put the gun beside him. Then Petra hugged her husband's muscular shoulder, who was shirtless. A sharp look was evident in Petra's eyes without Pascal realizing it.

"How long do I have to carry on this fake marriage!" Petra banged on the table, glaring at her teammates gathered in the meeting room.
"This mission will be over once we get a good opportunity to capture Pascal," Avelino, the team leader, spoke seriously.
"First, we haven't gathered enough solid evidence to imprison that man in court. Second, the recent political conflicts have somewhat hindered our investigation."
"So, what should I do? I'm tired of just playing his wife!" Petra snorted, crossing her arms arrogantly.
"Just observe closely. Understand his habits. Find his weaknesses, whether mental or physical. Every person has their own weaknesses. That man cannot be perfect, no matter how handsome and successful a businessman he is in this city."
Avelino's suggestions were understood by Petra, who nodded, but her expression remained sour. "Studying Pascal's character is quite difficult for me. He is an unpredictable man. One thing I know, he is obsessed with me."
"Good. Use his obsession to seduce him further and make him reveal everything to you."
"I've tried various subtle ways, but he hides something from me. It's as if he doesn't want me to know his darker secrets."
"Have you two ever slept together?" Liam suddenly blurted out. He was Petra's senior. His question shocked everyone in the room.
However, Petra's silence raised suspicions in their minds.
"Don't tell me you haven't had your first night together?" They all concluded the same. Petra felt cornered by the offensive tone.
"Yes." Petra's voice was almost a whisper as she answered honestly.
"Petra, since you joined this task force, you have been representing the country to resolve this matter together." Avelino had an idea, but Petra could already guess his intention.
"I don't intend to seduce Pascal more intimately, sir." There was a reason Petra couldn't say here. Because in truth, Petra couldn't lose her virginity to that criminal man.
"It's up to you how you do it, the important thing is that this mission needs to be completed as soon as possible. You don't want to live with that man for long, right? I've given some suggestions. Think of the best way." Avelino then stood up. "Meeting adjourned!"
Petra suddenly felt demotivated. A pat on the shoulder from Liam seemed to support her. "Don't worry, we're trying our best too," Liam said before walking away.
"Use this." Liam handed a packet of powder to Petra.
"What is this?" Petra asked.
"I got it from the lab. They said it's a truth serum. It might be useful for your task if you don't want to sleep with him."
Petra returned to Pascal's mansion. The house didn't have tight security from bodyguards but had sensors that could automatically trap intruders.
"My wife, Petra! Where have you been?" Pascal welcomed her as she entered the mansion. "Not seeing you for a moment makes me anxious."
"I was just out for a walk to clear my mind. My head hurts thinking about your behavior behind my back," Petra retorted. In truth, her behavior and words were nothing more than acting.
"Forgive me. I was wrong. What do you want me to do to make you forgive me?" Pascal's eyes were teary, reflecting a desperate plea.
This man was very different when outside. Petra was impressed by him, amazed by his mastery of personality. It was like two different people. "Let's sit and talk over drinks," Petra suggested.
A bottle of expensive wine was poured into a glass. Petra discreetly mixed the powder into Pascal's drink. Then they sat on the living room sofa in the warmth.
"How was your day? Did everything go well?" Petra asked, anticipating Pascal to drink the expensive wine.
"Yes. Everything was boring. Today I didn't fire a single bullet. It feels like a day without killing someone."
Damn psychopath! Petra thought.
"Maybe you should find the enemy planning something against you before something bad happens," Petra said, sipping her own red wine.
"I still haven't found the person who framed me. The b***h who slept with me has already been shot dead by me."
