Face the truth
—
I turned myself around coming face to face with sleeping Abigail, she looked to peaceful and I still can’t get my head around the fact we had s*x yesterday, she might kill me today but it was worth it.
My peaceful morning was interrupted when the door to my room swung open, I really had to learn how to lock the damn thing.
Mary appeared through the door, in the clothes she was in yesterday. “You’re the worse cousin in history, you left me at the bar and didn’t check on me what if I was taped Josie—”
I immediately became vigilant and sat up, I looked at her attire it was okay and there were no tears on her face. “But you didn’t right?” I asked not leaving her body.
She laughed out loud like a crazy person, “f**k no, the only way a man is getting some is when I want. I have hands of fury.” she held her fist up high and I began laughing, those wouldn’t harm a fly at all.
“You’re making a lot of noise,my head is killing me.” Abigail mumbled then pulled the covers over her head exposing my bare feet.
Mary didn’t notice the presence of someone else until Abigail spoke, Mary looked from the covered body to me.
She was being to dramatic sometimes, I ignored her questioning look, I lowered myself to her ear. “Sorry, we’ll keep it down.” I spoke into Abigail’s ear.
“Who the f**k is that.” Mary asked while her index finger was pointed towards Abigail, I gave her a shy smile and she knew exactly what that meant. She walked over to the side where Abigail laid and tried to pull the sheets off her.
I got them in time,“Don’t do that Mary!” I hissed covering Abigail again before Mary could see her, but for me it completely exposed I was naked, my chest stood out of the covers. She looked at me shocked, “Wait, you’re naked.” I pulled the covers over my chest, while my guard was down she uncovered Abigail.
“OMG!!!! Abigail!” she squealed excited, I looked over at Abigail who looked a bit still drowsy. “Oh everyone needs to know this.” with that Mary was running out of my room.
“Mary! Don’t you do that!” I tried to scream but it was of no use, she was too far gone and had already gotten everyone’s attention.
I laid back on the bed trying to think of a lie but nothing, how would I explain us being naked together.
“She must be fun.” Abigail spoke, I turned my head and she was facing me, her head leaning against her arm.
I shook my head then laughed at all the times this had happened to me, and everytime it was Mary. “She’s not, not one bit or once in my life.” Abigail joined me, we both began laughing.
While laughing we locked eyes, her ocean blue eyes pierced through my soul. I tore my gaze away from her, looking anywhere but at her. “About yesterday, I’m sorry—”
I stopped talking when I felt her palm on my face, I was once again looking directly into her eyes. “Don’t apologize, I wanted it as much as you did and I didn’t stop you.”
I gave her a side smirk, “Who said I wanted it? and more less enjoyed—”
A pillow hit my face with full force, “Jerk!” Abigail hissed as she continued hitting me with my pillow, and I laughed through all of it.
“Well this is the first.” my mother’s voice came from the door which caused both of us to stop and pull the covers to out chests.
By her side my grandfather appeared, “I need to agree on that.” he spoke, I watched at Abigail hid herself under the covers. Couldn’t they have waited downstairs, this is so embarrassing gosh.
“I third it!” Mary squealed as she jumped into the room, and the trio was complete.
“Guys, what are you doing here.” I hissed as I look at Mary in the eyes, she was the cause of all this. She shrugged then avoided my glare, I looked at the rest waiting for an answer.
“When Mary came running in, we had to see for ourselves the news!” my mother was the one who spoke on behalf of them.
“And boy it’s not disappointing at all.” grandfather added, smiles both appeared on their faces sort of grins.
I ran my fingers through my hair, how did I end up with such mentally unstable people. “Now out please, we should get dressed.” I directed them to the door behind them.
Grandfather looked at me one last time then winked, “Yeah that, take all the time you need but know we’re waiting outside and we can hear—”
“Don’t embarrass your granddaughter like that, in front of our daughter in law.” for a moment I was beginning to thank my mother but nop spoke too early, Abigail emerged from the covers looking as shocked at ever.
“Mary!” I shouted, she caused this mess she had to direct them out immediately. She sighed then got a hold of both my mother’s hand and grandpa, “Okay guys let’s go before I get skinned alive.” then the door closed and I could finally breath again
I looked at Abigail, “Sorry for them.” I apologized, everything about today was embarrassing thanks to my family.
“Nice family, I would kill to talk to mind again.” I looked at her with a frown, what happened to her’s. She must have noticed my frown because she continued speaking. “Let’s get dressed, don’t want to keep them waiting.”
I went downstairs with Abigail, after she took a quick shower then got dressed in my clothes. Everyone was at the table having breakfast, and by everyone I mean even the demons of the house.
Uncle Andrew looked the most surprised when Abigail walked in with me, by my side and in my clothes for a matter of fact. I tiny smirk appeared on my face, we took our seats at the table.
The five of us exchanged some stories, mostly my mother and Mary ambushing Abigail with a lot of questions. While Marcus and Andrew where checking out my hot friend, aunt acted like she didn’t acknowledge Abigail at all and I was great full.
After breakfast, Abigail pulled me to the side as we where heading to the backyard with my three family. “There was a lot of tension at the table from those three, why?” she seemed a bit worried.
I giggled a bit, she had nothing to worry about, I was used to it by now. “Oh they hate me, I’m the.... Nevermind them let’s enjoy the morning with my true family. Do you like gardening?” she gave me a nod which was great because mum would like her.
I pulled her out of the house, we walked to the greenhouse hand in hand and I couldn’t help the smile, neither of us could.
