The Outside Unmated

Never seen the time pass so fast was this lasts days before we know it, I was in front of the pack house with the Alpha, Luna, Beta, Gamma, and all of us the unmated children of the pack, to welcome the unmated children of Lowlands Pack with Alpha Glen and Luna Mikaela. This is going to be a hell week. I understand what they want me to do, to help them find the destined mates, but I still have the pressure of Alpha Oscar that thinks that I will be finding my Chosen Mate. The days went well, until the meeting before this, “You asked for me Alpha?”

“Aleena come in.”

My father was already inside the Alpha office. I look at him, he just smiled at me.

“Hi Sweety, sit here.”

I sat near him in front of the large desk of papers. I got a brow up, in front of Alpha Gabor was a letter.

“Aleena as you know tomorrow Alpha Glen and Luna Mikaela are coming to the packhouse and staying until the Chosen Mated Ball.”

I was clenching my teeth. My father put his hand on top of mine. The Alpha just looked at me.

“I do not want anything going wrong, no fights with the others, no talking about them, do you understand what I am saying Aleena?” Alpha lifts an eye brown at me.

My father gripped my hand, I was almost pouncing. I am starting to hate my alpha. But to respect my father, I got a deep breath, and before speaking, it reminded me that if Alpha Glen was sending them to my help, he already knows and accepts.

“Yes.Alpha.”

“Good, you will see Aleena this will be the best for everyone.”

I just looked at my father, this time he was not smiling at me, I think I saw a sadness in his eyes for a moment, but it disappeared.

“That is all you can go now.”

I got up in a jump storming outside the office, still, I heard. “Better to keep a leash on your daughter, if she ruins this, I can’t do anything for her.” And my father's voice.  “Yes, Alpha I understand.” Tears started rolling down my face. I run to my room only to cry my soul out.

Now I am here all dressed up. Mother came to my room in the morning and seeing the state I was for crying all night dressed me up. I let her, not fighting. I just wanted the presentation to get over, to come up and lock myself in my bedroom again.

‘Sis, you alright?’ I sigh. ‘Just hoping this will be over son.’ Allan saw my morning look of despair before my mother fixed me up.  ‘Do not give up sis, you know they are here for your help, not for Alpha Oscar.’

I realized that Alpha Glen and Luna Mikaela were counting on me to help them and the pack members, they trusted me, they believed in me. I raised my head and look at the cars coming on the driveway of the pack.

‘That is the badass Sister I know.’

They all got out of the car, Alpha Glen and Luna Mikaela came to greet us, they introduced the unmated pack members. Every time they said the name of the member, they would look at me.

“Alpha Oscar, glad to be back again. Thank you for letting us be part of this ceremony.” They shook hands.  “We are glad to have you all here.” He then slides to the side of Alpha Glen. “First let me introduce you to our unmated children.” We all take a step forward.

“In my side is my son Alec, Brian is my Beta son, Alan and Aleena are my Gamma sons, Lewis, Tory, Talia, Taya are warrior sons, Asli, Lin, Theo are Omegas.” Then Alpha Glen gave his pack members a sign.

“This are the girls: Theodora, Kana, Karyma, Trinidad, Olivia, Avigail, Glenda.” Each of them passed and gave us hand-shakes. I got completely intoxicated by their smells, I had to put my hand and grip my nose after all of the girls passed by trying to not have a headache. I could see by the corner of my eyes Luna Mikaela completely focus on me. Well, not much to hide.

“This is the boys: Verlin, Colden, Judd, Otto, Ritchie, Clemens, and Bruce.” Again, a lot of smells, I think Luna Mikaela did not give them the potion, because I could also see the surprise in Alpha Oscar, he could smell them. Maybe that is why is so intense now, like the time I bump into my history teacher. That also reminded me of something.

“And those too by your side?” Our Luna asked.

We all looked at Luna Mikaela, a Girl, and a Boy next to her, and her gaze was on me. “This is Ames and Keavy, they are older than the rest, they already had a mate, but the last rouge attack took them away, so I was hoping they could find a second chance at the ball.” Luna Mikaela explained.

“They are welcome also.” I could feel Alpha Oscar's eyes on me by the corner.

‘I think Alpha Oscar will mate you or with a boy or a girl, but you will not leave the ball unmated.’  Stupid brother laughing in the link.

They did the same thing as the others, again I froze at the smells. I could already sense some of them are True Mates, but my head was not ready for this attack of smells, I got a little dizzy.  ‘Sure, you are alright Sis, you almost fell.’ Alan put a hand on my waist supporting me. ‘Too many smells.’ He nods. ‘I notice too. I’ll ask dad if you can rest a little bit.’

I saw Alan ask dad if I could rest a little bit before lunch. I could see Luna Mikaela's worried look. Dad asking the Alpha if the kids could have a little break before lunch with the reply saying that we have guests, the kids could rest later. That made Alpha Glen look at him eyebrow up.

“I do not mind if they could rest a little bit, we are also tired from the trip, my Luna would love to go to the room and sleep a little.” Alpha Glen, as on cue Luna Mikaela yawn.

Everyone looked at her, she blushed. “Seems the trip was a little hard a rest should help before Lunch.”

“I can see that.” Alpha Oscar with a small smile. “The children will take you to your bedroom.”

Alec and Taya took a step forward asking Alpha and Luna to go with them. They both looked at me and follow them. The pack followed Luna and Alpha after they were already inside the packhouse. Alpha Oscar send me a not too happy look, like more you screw again look, and went inside.

We all follow, I almost tripped again with dizziness. My father noticed that my brother was helping me stand up, came to me, picked me up bridal style. I was so tired that I immediately closed my eyes in his arms. Too much for the time being.

“She will not disrespect an Alpha and Luna from another pack and me.” I woke to the sounds at my door. “She is not feeling well Alpha.” That’s my father's voice.  “I want her down to Lunch and she will come down.” He used his Alpha voice.  “Yes, Alpha.”

I hear stomps going away. I pretend to be sleeping when my father walks into my room. I sense the bed dip on the side, his hands come rubbing my head. “I know you awake.” I open my eyes, my father had the saddest smile I ever saw. “Do not worry father, I am already feeling fine and will come down with you.” His eyes are of sorrow and forgiveness. I am a Gamma daughter, I still have to obey my alpha orders, although I don’t give a crap about what he says, I still have to be fine for my family's wellbeing.

“Aleena, whatever happens in that Ball, if you chose a mate or not, I would always support you.” I widen my eyes at my father, my brother and I always know that my father knew something, but the Alpha command is always stronger. I was almost breaking and telling him I wanted to leave, but I could not do that to him or Mom. But those words, help me get out of bed, clean my face, and get down with my father, shin up.
