Chapter Two: Water park

We pulled up to the water park. Screams of excitement could be heard all around us.Several rides wurled around just past the gate. I jumped out of the car. I was wearing a purple and pink one peice swimsuit with a blue short skirt. I had on my favorite pair of flip flops and I started walking towards the gate. My dad paid for the tickets and we were in. Josh and I took off towards a ride called the Twister. It was about 100 feet tall and spirled down into the water making a giant splash. It was more of a coaster then a water slide. We rode that a few times before I got a feeling of being watched. There was a man off in the distance just watching us. I pushed it off as him watching the ride. "There are crazy people here today" I saud to Josh who nodded. He then pointed to a lady who looked like she was on something and was acting crazy. Security was trying to round her up and it made us laugh. We also saw several parents chasing after their small kids.

We went on a few more rides before meeting up for lunch. My parents waved us down. They had gotten chicken wings and pizza. I smiled as they knew Josh all to well. We quickly eat and then let the food settle. " you two are drinking water right" they said and I nodded. Josh looked at them and said "every ride I take a drink of water". My parents cringed and I laughed. I looked around just people watching and that man was back. I stiffened just a little. "I think someone is following us" I say softly to Josh. Thankfully my parents had walked away to get drinks for everyone. "That man over there?" Josh asked pointing at him. I grab his hand and pull it down. "Damn it Josh dont point" I say glancing towards the man who locked eyes with me. I started to get nervous. His eyes were a deep brown but I swore they went red at once point which i didnt think was posible.

My parents came back and gave me a look. "Whats wrong sweetie?" My mom asked and I went to tell her but the man was just gone. "There was some guy who made me nervous but he is gone now" I said and my mom looked around. " if you see him again call me" my dad said and I nodded. What a way to bring the fun out of my birthday.

Josh and I rode only a few more rides before a rain storm blew over and put an end to our day.The sky had darkened and the wind also picked up. As we climbed into the car, I got the feeling of being watched but couldnt see anyone. I sigh and blucketed up. I still couldnt shake the feeling of being watched. As we pulled away I saw the man at thw edge of the woods. He disappeared into the forest and I made a mental note not to go into the woods anytime soon.

We dropped Josh at his house and I yawned as we drove away. Before I knew it I was sound asleep in the back seat.

"Some on Sweetie" moms voice sounded as I felt her gently shake me. I opened my eyes and yawned before climbing out. I walked inside and up to my room. I passed out face first on my bed.

A couple days later I woke up early for school. It was the last day and I couldnt wait. I walked into the kitchen and started making some eggs.

"Your up early" mom said as she came into the kitchen. She started the coffee while I finished my breakfast. "So I signed you up for drivers training" mom said and I squealed. "Thank you momma" I said smiling. "Hold on, our deal was that you could take drivers training only if you got a job" mom says and I sigh. I knew the deal but I was kind of hoping she had forgotten.

Honk honk

"Guess Josh is here. I will see you after school mom" I say as I kiss her cheek and ran out the door. Josh has just gotten his license and his mom agreed to let him drive the last day of school.

We drove to school and I stared out the window. I hadnt heard the voice in a few days and I was rather happy about it. We pulled into the school and I hopped out hoping the day would go by quickly. Before I knew it the day was over. I walked out to Josh's car and waited for him to come out.

As I was waiting I felt like i was being watched again. I look around but didnt see anything.

Harmony

A voice rang out in my head.

"What" I say aloud causing a few people to look at me.

Harmony you can talk to me in your head.

The voice said and I sighed. "Your not real I cant be hearing things." I say aloud as Josh walks up.

"Harmony im worried about you" he said softly as we got into the car. I sigh knowing if my mom found out I would get sent away.

The car ride was very quiet. As we pulled into the driveway Josh hopped out as well. "Mrs. Johnson, I wanted to talk to you" he said as my mom walked out. "Josh please" I said softly. "You keep hearing voices and I'm worried" he said and my mom sighed. "I will take her to get checked" my mom says and I sigh. I was kind of upset at Josh but knew he was just looking out for me.

The next few days were weird. Mom took me up to the mental hospital and they admitted me. I was stuck. What a way to end my last day of school. Thankfully I was just on a forty two hour hold to see if I would be kept long term or not.
