19 Hudson raised his eyebrows at me when I walked into O’Kelley’s with Masterson. I shrugged, not knowing what was going on either. Hudson played it off as though Masterson was always there with us and asked what he wanted to drink. He set a beer in front of me and asked if we were eating dinner. “Yeah, I’m starving,” Masterson said. “Burger?” Hudson nodded. “Sure. What do you want on it? Fries, onion rings, or mozzarella sticks on the side?” “Cheddar, bacon, and ketchup with fries. Thanks.” “Same for me,” I said. It sounded good.
