Chapter -1
" Today was a long day, good thing I submitted my assignment a little earlier , now I can concentrate on My part time job more efficiently.. " Caroline thought glancing at The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky , Making her internally smiles in peace . The day she realise that her parents actually abandoned her, leaves a massive gash in her heart . She grew up thinking about what was the reason that she got abandoned? Was she not a good child !? Did she do something that displeased her parents ?! All this questions makes her feel emptiness inside, but she pushes her clenched feelings aside and continued with her every day life. It's Carolines dream to find her soulmate, spend some quality time with him and try to replace the void in her heart with Love and happiness . Even though finding true love sounds Like a fairytale in today's corrupted world where everyone's value is decided by their number of wealth .
Caroline sighs with a sad smile knowing the harsh truth quite well , she shook her head to remove those unpleasant scenarios as she continues to move forward inorder to reach her destiny , her home .
Caroline carried on walking on her own path until she witnessed something quite unusual . A child dashing towards a ball which is slowly but notably rolling in between heavy traffic .Caroline glances at the child worrisomely wondering where are the kids parents at ?!
" Hey Kid !! Come over here , Don't go running on the road !! " She screamed wanting to gain some attention from the deaf child who continues to do whatever he was doing earlier .
Caroline was about to scream again but then she noticed a speeding vehicle going right towards the younger child who stood their unaware about his surrounding situation . Caroline glances at the child and then at the raging truck in panic , doing the first thing that came in her child Which is , to save his life and give him a good beating afterwards .. Caroline ran as fast as she could , Pushing the boy away but somehow got herself engaged into the massive accident .
She stumbled into a frightening accident almost by mistake . she felt her arm and leg getting numb , A strange tingling sensation started revolving inside her chest . After about 5 minutes of laying there in pain she heard the faint noises of police cars and ambulances from everywhere and people chatting and sympathizing making her realise that it is just too late for her to be saved now .
she neglected her aching near neck side and tried to glance at the crying child who was now stuffed properly under her mother's warm embrace .
Good , that is where he should belong... If the child is safe then .. It's Alright if she dies . Caroline thought as she finally closed her eyes , Allowing herself to get swallowed by nothing but darkness .. It's what her life used to be afterall . Dark and Lonely !
The first rays of sunlight lit up my room .
I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window with uneven steps still practically half-dead . Wow... It's so damn beautiful outside Today.. There is so many Rose's in the garden .. Hmm that's weird, do I have a HUGE rose garden at my house ..
WAIT A DAMN MINUTE, Why am I STILL alive?!? waitt what am I doing here ,where is this f*****g place at ?! Caroline averted his wide eyes in each and every possible direction trying to take in her surrounding situation .. then suddenly her eyes halted on a majestic mirror, slowly running her shivering fingers over her Rosy cheeks . This face is not mine !! hell I don't even know this person Is she me ? Um .. Wow I ..mean she's beautiful !
How can I describe her ..She has this slim waist ,had slender eyebrows with velvety eyelashes . Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed as she tried to speak but voice hitches back inside her throat . It was a pleasure to see her fire orange curly hair , flowing eternally as if she is a Princess in some Disney movie . Her enticing, constellation-blue eyes gazed at me over her puffy, heart shaped lips. Is it alright to fall in love with myself like literally ... This girl is capable of putting on fire in everyone's heart!!
Caroline thought, pitying the girl whose body she is currently living in ..." I don't know how I get into your body but I'll try my best to return it to it's rightful owner .." Caroline whispers making her way back towards the bed where she was sleeping before .. With in a minute or so , the doorknob of her bedroom twisted open revealing a mid-age lady who looks at her with shock filled eyes "
"M.. maria ...My Child !!! You are finally awake !?" The old woman screams in disbelief , as she walked towards the confused girl immediately , caressing the girl's face with great gentleness as if afraid to hurt her even the slightest bit . " My lovely daughter ,do you know how worried mom was when you suddenly disappeared ?! You were so badly injured w.. when we find you " The lady cried out while embracing the tightly in her arms . Caroline doesn't even know who this lady is , but hearing her being so worried to the point that she can't help but to cry out loud in relief for her daughter.
" Maria , A..are you alright dear , Is anything hurting ?! Richard !! RICHARD ?! Maria is awake !! Come quickly!! " the women shouted as another heavy sounds of footsteps came along with a panting man who directly looks at the girl with surprisement clear on his face ..
" Oh Dear Lord ,My Maria .. Papa was so worried for you my silly child , Why do you have to wander around alone in the woods huh? " The man said sternly but soon replaces the expression with a huge smile as he also hugged Caroline , the lady sat their with a contented smile seeing the daughter and father being all adorable and goofy with eachother .. After waiting for a few minutes Maria finally questions " W.. who are you ? " Maria muttered while glancing towards their faces which is turned pale now .. Yeah.. Caroline came to conclude alittle about Maria's relationship with those two people who claims to be her mom and father but other then that she seriously doesn't know what's actually going on ... looking from there expression she can make out alittle that maria somehow got herself involved into some s**t which causes her to get severely injured and hence she is here ..Is maria death or something ?!
