Chapter -2

" Um ..I am sorry but my memories are quite hasy and I don't seem to remember most of the stuffs.. " Maria mumbled while playing with her fingers in utter nervousness .

" Richard !! Call the doctor ! she doesn't remember her mother this can't happen " The lady yells in anger on the man standing beside her who immediately nodded not wanting to anger his wife even more . she is hella scary when feeling angry. Caroline watches the scene with wide eyes her baby blue pupil expanding once she notice the approaching hands of that scary woman .

" Don't come near me !!" she yells out of instinct " Baby~ I am not trying to scare you ..

It's just that your father is very slow witted when the situation gets messy so I had to make decisions instead of him .." the lady explained in an attempt to comfort me which I don't think is working but I find it kinda funny when Maria's father immediately obeyed whatever her wife asked her , that's love for her .. Caroline slightly chuckles noticing how the lady is fidgeting probably feeling guilty for scaring her daughter . " It's alright mom , I understand" maria smiles as the old lady finally lets out a sigh in relief . " Mrs .Kim is a really nice doctor, She will treat you and make you completely fine so don't worry too much and take rest for now ok ?" She smiles patting Maria's soft , silky hair who felt a warm feeling inside her chest , never received any motherly Love.. Even though in her previous life Caroline was adopted by a couple who took care of her but decently.. They're more like caretakers than parents but she is glad to get another chance to recieve such Love and Care . Maria and her mother sat there for a while , normally chitchatting about any random things inorder to make maria remember her past . " Baby , I know you're not in the right state to answer mother but still ,Do you by any chance remember those people who tried to harm you that night ? " Maria's mother asked in hesitation not wanting to upset her daughter.

" I am sorry but I don't seem to remember about anything .." Maria whispers with gritted teeth, feeling somewhat enraged after knowing that someone actually dares to hurt such a beautiful girl ...

" Hello Maria, I see you're awake now" Dr. Kim

smiles taking seat on a chair placed nearby maria who also smiles back . " So.. First things first , How are you feeling maria?" the doctor questions " I am fine but I seems to forget alot about my past , I wasn't even aware about my own name before " Maria said honestly to which the doctor nodded in understanding " I am sorry to say this but Maria is currently suffering from amnesia maybe because she got severe injury before "

Mrs .kim said " What's amnesia doctor? " Her father asked worriedly " Most people with amnesia have problems with short-term memory, so they can't retain new information. Recent memories are most likely to be lost.

but we can help them regain it by reminding about her past and yes it takes time to get cured there are even cases where people never regained their memories " Dr. Kim informed as both Maria's parents nodded in understanding feeling extremely sorry and helpless for their dearest daughter .

" It's alright , you'll get better soon ,Papa will try his best to help you recover your lost memories " Richard smiles softly as he placed a gentle peck on her daughters forehead . " Make sure to eat nuts, Berries, fish , and leafy green vegetables Maria it will help your brain to function properly " Dr.kim said lastly patting Maria's head before taking her departure .

☄️ Night-time ☄️

............No..no T.. they are a..approaching me so speedily maria thought while heavily panting, literally gasping for breath ,her snowy feet now covered with fresh bluish wounds but that doesn't stop her from running .Maria heard heavy sounds of footsteps along with yelling from the group of people chasing after her . she wants to cry out loud for help but all her previous attempts went in vain causing her soul to quiver in pity.

Inbetween running she got stumbled upon a branch causing her downfall to the ground . She tries to crawl herself further but got pulled back through her leg . " Trying to run away princess ? " One of the male smirks as the other person makes his way towards the struggling girl , harshly pulling her hair up inorder to make eye contact .

" hmm~ You're a really beautiful omega indeed but sorry sweetheart.. I have to kill you it's an order from the queen after all " He said chuckling afterwards when he notices the girls shocked expression . " Yes darling ~ you heard that right ..Your STEP MOM wants you death , Ofcourse she doesn't want her daughter who is a lame excuse of werewolf to not become the future queen of this kingdom.

You're just a poor thing who got caught between the fire " he whispers running her thumb over those pouty lips . A sudden painfull gasp escaped from the girl's mouth . she slowly glances at her stomach where the guy stabbed a sharp knife in my stomach , The pain was like fire burning her stomach. She winced . It was nauseating. She started to quiver in realisation .The man again stabbed her ,this time more deeper and with much force . The pain felt like a hot, sharp knife, covered in salt, slicing through her skin and into her muscles and bones . Her hasy mind eventually started numbing because of extreme pain which she has never experienced before . " I felt pity for her , Only if she wasn't a child of those disgusting royals then this wouldn't have happened " The guy muttered with evidentiary pity as the other also surprisingly nodded in agreement .

I could feel sweat trickle down my forehead. Who could it be ? I was very frightened. I was sleeping all alone in my room and wondered if I should call anybody. When I tried to call my parents, my voice froze in my throat out of fear.
