Caroline abruptly shot up from her previous position, her eyes glistening with tears as she placed her shaky hands over her stomach immediately lifting up her night gown inorder to check the wound made by that dagger in her dream . " Where's the injury ?! There isn't even a scar left !" Caroline gulps. she could feel sweat trickle down her forehead. Who could it be ? I was very frightened. I was sleeping all alone in my room and wondered if I should call anybody. Caroline sat their in silence ,her hands still shivering because of the dream .
Was it Maria's past ? Is this how she died?
Caroline felt pity for the poor girl after knowing how she was brutally murdered by her step mother , waittt ...So this means that Richard has another wife but wait a second, didn't those brat said that her stepmother killed her inorder to provide her own daughter the opportunity to become the kingdom's queen ?! So maria is actually the king's daughter, What type of father he is ?! leaves his own child to be killed by his bitchy mistress hands ?!! No matter what the reason was behind , the story is still at odds ...
Because Maria is someone Who is a mystery in herself .
" If you're really harmed by those people then I will avenge you and give you the title of Queen of this kingdom, That is MY promise to you Maria .." Caroline whispers with determination taking pledge to become the strongest among all .. This time whatever she is, it is because of Maria so she'll make sure the girl gets what she deserves .
...The Next Day...
" Oh ~ Maria My lovely child, you're awake?Good... I have already prepared breakfast ?" The lady aka Maria's foster mom name suzen
said cheerfully .. Woah.. she's quite energetic this early morning, I can barely process if I am alive or half-dead at dawn .. Caroline thought while heaving a dry chuckle. " Good Morning .. Mom" Maria whispers making suzen stumbled upon thin air .. "Did Y..you just called m..me Mom right now ??" Suzen muttered in shock as she tried to gulped down the lump agitating inside her throat .
" Yes .. Aren't I supposed to call you Mom ?"
Maria whispers while tilting her head in confusion " O .. ofcourse sweetie, It's just that It feels like ages when I last heard you calling me Mom, it is one of the pleasantest memory no matter then or now ..." Suzen muttered with a wide smile as she continues stroking her daughters head fondly . Caroline can't help but to let out a genuine smile, she has never experienced what's parents Love, for her .. everything feels quite good and unrealistic..She is aware for whom this love and affection belongs to and she'll never forget about it but currently Caroline cannot help but to be a little selfish and accept all of the care she receives from Her parents ..
" Mom ..can we Hug for awhile?" Maria asked expectantly glancing at the woman who was alittle taken back by hearing the girl's request but eventually a warm , motherly smile spread over her face as she opened her arm , gesturing the girl to come near her mother...
Maria blinks a few times as a series of short hiccups escaped her red,pouty lips .
" Oh My ,Why are you crying ,you silly girl? Mom is right here " Suzen chuckles while patting Maria's back in a comfort way ..
" Mom ...can I ask you something? " Maria whispers her face pressed against her mother's warmth. " Ofcourse baby ,is anything causing you discomfort ?!" Suzen questions " Nah ,it is not that ...I am feeling alot better now so I thought maybe I should learn some basic fighting skills inorder to protect myself if something like this repeat itself in future " Maria confronted her points hoping for her mother to agree with it " Maria ..what you said is true ..but dear ,what about your omega body? will it be able to handle all this stress on her body ?" Suzen said worriedly when the question struck in Caroline's mind ..what the hell is an Omega??!!
" Um... I am sorry but can you explain me what is an Omega?" Maria asked
" What ?! you don't remember .. how can you forget about such important things, is it because of your severe amnesia ??! " Suzen questions to herself meanwhile letting out a sigh already knowing it would be bad if the child is unknown about her own species and people " It's alright maria , Mom will explain you bit by bit about all the stuffs so don't worry " Suzen assured causing maria to happily nod her head in aggreement ..
