***Bear*** To say I was pissed was an understatement. When the prospects called, saying cops had shown up and were in the room, it sent my rage level to its max. We had told them, nurses, a thousand times that no one is allowed in. So why did those two cops walk in? It's beyond me. I thought for sure Bash was about to rip that one's head off when he moved to grab Molly. No one touches our women. I stole a glance at Piper as I walked in. She looked scared, lying there, watching what was happening. Seeing how she was afraid made my blood boil even more than it was. Now I stood there, staring down at that so-called doctor. His reasoning was total bullshit. He is up to something, but I'm not sure what yet. I think he has a thing for Molly, as he never takes his eyes off her when he is in here. Molly, being the sweetheart she is, doesn't see it. "I do apologize for the mishap. I will ensure it is noted again, and they understand no one is to come in; I was coming in to give Ms Reed a checkover and check her vitals. It's been about five hours since she woke. I have some other tests that need to be done and some more X-rays." He moved closer to the bed and looked down at her. "How's the throat?" She nodded. "Better." She paused. "The ice is helping." Her voice was raspy, but it was music to my ears. "Good. By tomorrow, it should be better. I'm sorry, those tubes are not pleasant at all. Okay, I would like to get another X-ray of your ribs." "How long do you think she will have to stay here?" I asked, making her look at me. And I'll say it: her eyes are the prettiest thing ever. They are an almond color. "Well, I assume she will be going home with Ms Molly?" he asked, looking at Molly. "Yes, she will be going home with Mrs. Molly and me," Bash answered and corrected him as well. He bobbed his head. "Well, as she knows what she's doing, Ms Reed does not need to stay here. If there is someone who can care for her, I can let her be released tomorrow. I would like her to stay for the rest of the day and night, just a caution." He answered but didn't acknowledge Bash's warning. "Let me go get that X-ray ordered. Ms Reed, are you still in a lot of pain?" She shook her head no. "Alright, I will have them stop the drip, but I would like to keep you on fluids for the night. If your pain gets worse, we will give you something for it." He looked at us all, his eyes lingering on Molly a second longer than Bash liked. He then turned to walk out. "I don't like him," Bash said. "He wants you." He pulled Molly against him. She chuckled as she slapped his arm. "Stop it." I couldn't take my eyes off Piper as she lay there. I was talking to myself to calm down. I didn't want to scare her, but I was still seething mad at that moron doctor and the nurses. While Molly was talking to Bash, I moved over to the side of the bed. Her eyes watched me; I felt nervous. What the heck, man? I don't get like this. I'm not some inexperienced teenage boy; I'm a thirty-two-year-old man. "You doing alright? I'm sorry about those guys." She blinked a few times. She shifted just a little, but then I saw her wince. "I'm okay." I saw her throat work a bit. I quickly grabbed the small cup, holding it up for her to take a sip. "Thank you." God, she was so sweet. "You're welcome." She was eyeing my kutte, and her eyes landed on where it said president along with my name; it seemed like it sank in on who and what we were. It wasn't fear in her eyes. It was something else. I couldn't hide the smile as it broke out on my face. Two nurses walked in. Their eyes landed on me, and as they moved down, taking in my kutte, I saw it flash in their eyes. I internally groaned. I hate women like this. They see our leaders and instantly think we are looking for a hookup. "Afternoon, we are here to take you down to X-ray," the one said, but she was staring at me. Lust filled her eyes as she batted her lashes at me. Before I could say anything, Molly was on them. "You want to stop batting your eyes at her husband and do your job." Piper's eyes widened at Molly's words, but I couldn't help the laugh that slipped out. Both of them dropped their eyes as they hurried to get her ready, mumbling a sorry. "We will bring a wheelchair to take you to X-ray. I'm sorry we have to move you. I know it's going to be painful," the one said without looking. Molly was next to Piper, trying to help her sit up as she swung her legs over the side of the bed. I could see the pained look on her face the moment she moved. I walked over, making the nurses step back. Her tear-filled eyes looked up, and dam, I felt my knees go weak. "If you are okay with it, I can lift you and set you in the chair. Your body is weak from lying in bed, and I'm afraid you will fall with the help of those two." She glanced over at Molly, and Molly nodded, "It's okay, Pip. He won't hurt you." Looking back up at me, she said, "Okay." Stepping to her side, I leaned down, sliding my hand under her knees and the other around her back, keeping my hand low on her hip so I didn't put pressure on her ribs. As I stood up, she leaned against my chest. She was so light and small against me, but she fit right there in my arms. After setting her down in the chair, Molly laid a blanket over Piper's legs and moved to wheel her out. "I will go with, not trusting you two not to wheel her out the door cause you're hot and bothered by someone else's man." This is why we all love Molly, and she is the perfect match for Bash. Once they were out of the room, I turned to Bash. "Bear, I have a bad feeling about that dam doctor," Bash said as he sat on the chair by the window. "Me too. Something is off with him." "Other than wanting to screw my wife, I'm telling you if he keeps eye f*****g her one more time, he will lose his dam eyes." "It's odd that he called and told them she was awake so soon. He knew she wasn't able to talk to them yet. I mean, sure, they needed to talk to her eventually, but not the same day she woke up. I want her out of here as soon as possible." "We can just sign her out and have Doc look after her. Molly knows what she is doing, so between the two, she will be fine." That was a good idea. "We will talk to them when they get back. I do not trust this place." "I'll put a call in to him now," Bash said, pulling out his phone. I would feel better with her being at Bash and Molly's place than here. I know Doc is more than capable of caring for her. After all, he is a licensed doctor and works at a hospital himself, just not this one. ***Peter*** Fucking hell, this was a mess. I was so pissed at them three. I gave them specific instructions, but they royally screwed up. I should have known they would cause problems. Usually, I don't let them near Piper. She is mine to torture, my plaything. They spun it on me at the last minute. I didn't really need the money, but who would pass up the amount? That, and they paid in cash. All my other girls were already out with other clients. But when I returned and found her in such bad shape from what they did to her... Hell, they didn't even stick around. They were gone by the time I got back. I tossed her in the car, heading to the ER, and left her in a chair outside the ER doors. I know I couldn't stick around and have questions asked, they would look at me for what happened.
