Her Identity

In a house which looks like a mansion meant for Kings and queens only,where beautiful flowers were decorated and seen in the gardens. Butterflies with different colours dancing around them. Maids were seen walking around, preparing for their little boss birthday and guards were stationed around the mansion to keep eye on any intruder. Inside the mansion was decorated beautifully with pictures of the little boss. A beautiful chandelier was hanged in the middle of the dinning room that emanated soft lights. "Mr Gabriel,is everything set for my baby girl's birthday party tonight?" Rebecca asked the butler who was old to be her father. " Yes ma,everything is set including the cakes",he replied softly. "Alright, keep up the good work", she said before leaving to fetch her child from school. At exactly 7pm in the evening, the mansion was lit up in beautiful orb lights both in red and blue colours. Lovely music was bubbling inside the mansion and guests from various categories stared arriving. Edward,the birthday girl's father was the one receiving the guests,while his wife Rebecca was upstairs getting their little princess ready for her day. " Mom,why is grandpa not coming for my birthday party? Including Zaki?",little Adrianna asked her mother sadly. "Well,it's because your grandfather is very weak right now but he did sent you a birthday present", Rebecca replied. " Oh really.... can I see it now",her cheerful voice came in sounding pleasant to the ears. "off course my dear", Rebecca said and laughed at her daughter's behavior. She went ahead and gave Adrianna a small present wrapped with a gift box. Adrianna chuckled while opening the gift sent by her grandfather. She was so amazed to see what the gift was. It was a little dagger, with two beautiful diamonds at each edges. The handle was made of silver and it shone when she raised it up towards the direction of her room light. " Best birthday present ever",she chuckled as she stared at the gift. "Sorry that Zaki couldn't be here because he had to take care of father", Rebecca apologize to her daughter while helping her to get ready for the party. Adrianna only nodded her head and smiled sweetly to her mother. Why Adrianna's grandfather gave her that dagger was because she loves anything fight but she isn't a bully. Alexander always teaches Adrianna how to fight whenever she comes for visit. He does that because she is the only heir to heir parents properties and there are some moles in their lives who are acting like family members while their actual purpose is to get their hands on her family's wealth. During Adrianna's birthday party, she met her friends and was so happy that they could make it especially her best friend. " So how old are you now Adrianna my child", a voice asked. "Uncle James," she exclaimed and ran to hug him. James is the elder brother to Edward, Adrianna's father. People recognize them as the Belmont brothers because of their resemblance. Belmont is actually their surname, a rich and famous family respected by people. Edward is actually more wealthy than this brother James and he is very much hardworking as well. A handsome dude in his early forties. "Happy birthday princess", James congratulated Adrianna with a kiss on her cheek. Adrianna blushed and said a thank you to her uncle. She always consider James to be her favorite uncle. James has always treated her like his own child and his wife is yet to put to birth to another child. He currently has a son now named,Caleb. On the other hand, Rebecca and Edward were also talking with their friends who were a couple. They were Adrianna's best friend parents, Mr and Mrs Dmitri. The party soon came to an end at exactly 10pm and all the guests were already gone leaving the house owners and their Maids. Adrianna was sleeping soundly when she heard a loud noise coming from her parents room. She ran towards their room and what she saw wasn't meant for her to see at her very tender age. She saw a guy on black holding a gun on his right hand. His face wasn't clear because of the hoodie and baseball cap he was wearing. He was an known assassin who was sent to kill her parents. What she was able to see was a drawing which was called tatoo. the drawing was a picture of a scorpion that was draw. on his right arm. He left immediately through the window but before he could jump down, he glanced at Adrianna not able to do what he was supposed to do. He was meant to kill the whole family but he couldn't kill a little girl, so he decided to set the house on fire. Adrianna saw her parents lying in the pool of their own blood,tears weren't able to come out of her eyes due to shock. She touched her mother but her body was already cold as an ice. Rebecca was dead,the only person who was able to breath and talk to her was her father. Edward's breathing wasn't that stable but he managed to talk to his daughter. "dad", Adrianna sobbed and that was when she finally let go of her tears. They flowed like running water down her eyes and landed on her father's forehead. " Don't cry my dear,brave girls don't cry",Edward said softly while wiping off her tears with his thump. "Be a strong girl that I have always want you to be,my dear child. Don't let anyone underestimate you and don't allow them to belittle you. Fight for your rights and be an independent person. Your grandpa will be here soon to take you away. Listen to him, he is the only person you are allowed to trust in this life", Edward advices her with a shaking voice. " But dad please don't leave me alone. Should I phone uncle,maybe he could help ",Adrianna sobbed but then she tried to look cheerful. " Like I said,don't trust anyone, including your uncle. Those who you trust completely and regard them as family are the ones who will kill you slowly. Always know that my dear. Be wise and always make the right decision",Edward touched her head fondly like he always does. He smiled at his daughter painfully, he didn't wish to be separated from his little princess but faith played a crucial rule by wanting to separate them. How he will miss his little princess. A lone tears rolled down his eyes as he stared at her crying face. He smiled softly, kissed her forehead and spoke with a painful voice " my last wish is to seek justice for both I and your mother and to also live a happy life. You are my brave princess, if you leave don't contact anybody. Stay with your grandfather and Zaki. Don't even contact your best friend and always know that I love you very much my Angel",Edward whispered and then kissed both her cheeks with a heavy breathing before he became lifeless. Due to the smoke from the burning house,Adrianna cried bitterly and choked. She coughed strongly, her eyes became blurry before she lost consciousness and was taken away by a dark figure.
