It was still daylight when May and Silas were on the road going into Rolling Fork. Silas pointed to the land they were passing. “We are passing your land. Do you want to stop and take a quick look at the house?” asked Silas.
“If you are not too tired from driving, or we can wait until tomorrow,” said May.
“It won’t take long, and I don’t know what jobs Jamie has set up for tomorrow,” said Silas
He turned into the drive and followed it to the house. May and Silas looked around in astonishment. The house looked great. It was in good shape and freshly painted. The grounds around the house were freshly cut, and a flower garden was growing to one side.
