The room was so quiet. On the wall was a blue blue which Rowan bought from the store five months ago. "2:15 PM," he said and removed his shirt. He had only boxer shorts on when Eva walked into the sitting room. "Hey, dude, the table is set," Eva said and sat down on the couch. "You take this to the bedroom, while I go to take a shower," Rowan said, pointing to his clothes on the table." 10 MINUTES LATER Rowan was sitting on the chair while Eva served the food. Though she was pregnant, she never hesitated to do house chores. As soon as they finished eating lunch, they left for the sitting room. They had only spent one minute in the sitting room, when Rowan popped up a discussion. "Do you know that something striking happened at LGC today?" "LGC? What's LGC?" "Lifted Group of Companies." "Oh, pardon my manners, I never knew that was the acronym. What happened?" "The CEO's son died in the plane crash reported today." "Oh, my God. Jefferson, you mean Jefferson is dead," Eva said with pain in her voice. "Yeah, I was shocked when I heard about the incident. He was still at the company last week to greet his dad." "That's barbaric." "I felt for the CEO. The workers couldn't do any work today, because of what happened." "No wonder, you came back earlier than other days. Rowan was still in the midst of discussion with his wife when his phone rang." "It's the CEO," he whispered to his wife before he picked the call. Eva looked at her husband's intuition as he spoke with the CEO on the one hand, she could only hear the CEO faint voice from the other end. "I'll be right there," Rowan said and hung the call which lasted for 120 seconds. "What happened?" Eva said. "The CEO wants to see us tomorrow morning," Rowan said, standing up from the couch." "What for?" "I don't know." "I am worried for you." "Why?" "He lost his son and he wants to see you now." All through the night, Eva could not sleep. she wondered why the CEO wants to see her husband. "Will he arrest him? No I don't think so, his son died in a plane crash and nothing more. I just pray everything turns out positive," Eva muttered, looking at her husband who was sleeping close to her from time to time. She finally slept and had a dream. In the dream, she saw Rowan in a very dark room shouting for help, but nobody was there to help him. The next day, she discussed the dream with her husband and he burst into laughter. "You and your dreams. The last time, it was a lion chasing your dad. I think it's because of your condition. That was the main reason I told you not to stress yourself again, but you wouldn't listen. Dreams are products of our imaginations," Rowan said, trying to glance at Eva's face. He continued, "When we worry ourselves in the day, there is every tendency that we will have nightmares." Eva looked at Rowan closely. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" "I don't want to lose you." Rowan burst into another round of laughter. He tried all his best to pacify his wife.
