CHAPTER 10: THEY FINALLY MEET

While Thalia was still in the realm between life and death..... 

Damien POV

3 Hours! It has been 3 hours since I have been here and my mate is still unconscious. Thea woke up about an hour ago but my mate has not. I am worried about her but yet so are the others. What if she never wakes up? I can’t lose her and I just found her. Kade comes and sits next to me, putting his hand on my shoulder. “She will be fine Damien. She is strong.” Kade says as he tries to comfort me. “How do you know she will be fine? You heard what they said! She drained her power saving her mother during the fight!” I tell him. “Because the Moon Goddess would not have let you find your mate and then make you lose her like this! The Moon Goddess would not be that cruel at all.  I bet you her wolf is just resting to regain her power! She will wake up soon! So stop worrying okay!” Kade tells me as he gets up. “I can’t help but worry! She is my mate, the future Luna Queen and not to mention she is the Lunar wolf. I have to be the one who has to protect her and I failed!” I tell him

“You didn’t fail Damien! You could not have known that Thalia was your mate because you have never met her before now! I’m going to get something to eat, do you want anything?” Kade asks me. “Since when did you become so wise? And no I don’t want anything thank you.” I tell him as he walks away “I have always been wise!” He tells me and I reply “Not always! You know what I am talking about.”

Thea comes back into the room after she went to take a shower. “Hi Alpha King Damien, has there been any new developments while I was gone?” She asks me as she checks up on Thalia. “No not at all. She hasn’t moved or anything. I am worried about her.” I tell Thea  “Me too but I am sure she will be fine. My daughter is a strong woman. I still can’t believe she is mated to the Alpha King!” Thea tells me “The Moon Goddess did tell me that Thalia will have a strong mate!” She adds. “Yeah I still can’t believe that I have finally found my mate and she is the Lunar wolf also!” I tell her then I receive a mind link from my head of security for my company in Durban, Mike, who is at the warehouse right now.

‘Alpha King Damien, the two rouges that the warriors of Alpha Jake’s pack brought in are awake. Should we start questioning them now?’ Mike asks me through mind link. ‘No I will be there shortly. Those two tried to hurt your Luna Queen. I will deal with them myself.’ I reply. “I have to go to my warehouse. The two rouges that the Blue Stone pack warriors captured just woke up. Please let me know if Thalia wakes up while I am still gone?” I ask Thea and she just nods her head. “Kade get the suitcase. We are going to the warehouse. The rouges that were captured are awake!” I yell at Kade as I leave Thalia’s room.

I find Dante and Daniel outside in the kitchen. “Stay here, watch the Luna and make sure she is safe. If she wakes up you mind link me right away.” I say and they both reply in unison. “Yes Alpha.”

Kade meets me by the elevators and we get my rental car in the parking lot of the hotel. ‘Are we going to torture their asses?’ Xander asks me in my head. He is pissed off about what happened to his mate but has also been quiet this whole time. ‘Hell yes. I am going to torture them until they tell me where the hell that fucker Alanzo is and then I am going to kill them for trying to hurt Thalia. You with me on this pal’ I tell Xander. ‘f**k yeah I’m with you.

‘Mike get the tools ready in the torture room. I am about five minutes away!’ I tell Mike through mind link. ‘It’s already set up Alpha. We are just waiting on you.’ Mike replies ‘Good I will see you in a few minutes!’ I reply

“Does Mike have the tools ready yet?” Kade asks me from the passenger seat. “Yes. Did you bring the suitcase?” I ask him. “Yes it is right here Alpha?” Kade says as we pull up to the warehouse. “Good. How many is in there?” I reply. “About five vials.” Kade replies. “One is enough.” I tell him as we get out of the car. “Do you think they will talk? I mean tell us where Alanzo is hiding?” Kade asks me as we walk into the warehouse. “If they don’t then I will make them talk.” I reply just as Mike approached us.

“Alpha King Damien, Beta Kade I have run their DNA through our database and it is just as you suspected. These two rouges are brothers, Jerry and Barry Ndlovu are wanted for the murder and also raping of several human girls under the age of 18. The SAPS (South African Police Service) has been looking for them for years.” Mike tells us. “They are shackled to the walls in torture room one.” He adds

“Well you can add attempted kidnapping to that as well. Tonight is the night we will put a stop to their bullshit!” I tell Mike and Kade as we enter torture room one. “Well, well if it isn’t the Alpha King himself?” one of the rouges, I think his name is Jerry, asks me giving me a smirk. Motherfucker! “You won’t be smirking like that after I am done with you asshole!” I tell him as I open the metal case that Mike has prepared, taking out a pair of brass knuckles. I hit the asshole named Jerry so hard on his mouth that he broke a tooth. “You broke my tooth!” the asshole whines as he spits out his tooth.  “Yeah I am going to break a lot more than that tonight. So start talking! Where the f**k is your boss Alanzo?” I ask him as I hit him again.

“I don’t know!” he yells “You don’t know? Well lets see about that shall we!” I tell him as I get out a hammer from the case. I then turn to his brother Barry who is smirking. “What are you going to do to us little Alpha?” He asks. These motherfuckers think that I am playing. “Well I am going to torture you both until either one of you tell me where Alanzo’s hideout is and then I am going to kill you both!” I tell them as they both wipe those smirks of their faces. “You see the girl you tried to kidnap earlier is my mate! And nobody f***s with my mate and tries to get away with it!” I tell them as I pin Barry’s hand to the wall and then I hit his fingers one by one with the hammer. He starts screaming his lunges out. “You will heal and then I will do that again and again until you talk!” I yell at him as I pin his other hand and do the same there. “We didn’t know that she was your Luna!” Jerry yells as I am slamming his brother’s fingers against the wall.

“Alanzo wanted to capture her because she is the daughter of one of his old flames from the pack that he belonged to!” Jerry yells. “He wanted to use her to get to her mother!”

Oh so Jerry is the talker! “Thea was never an old flame of his! She was his Luna and the mate of Alpha Carlos! Whatever Alanzo told you about that is lies!” I tell them as I turn back to the metal case. “Time to turn things up a notch!” I tell them as I take out a machine that can shock people. I hook the machine up to Barry’s head. “What are you going to do with that?” Jerry asks me with his eyes wide. “What does it look like? I am going to light your brother up like a f*****g Christmas tree!” I tell him as I turn the machine on its highest. Barry starts screaming as the electricity goes through his body!

“Okay okay we will talk!” Jerry says as he starts crying. “Good idea but first,” I turn around to look at Kade who has been standing there. He knows not to interfere when I am torturing someone. “Give me one of those vials.” I tell him and he opens the suitcase to take one out.

“Wha… What is that?” Jerry asks me. “Oh it’s truth serum. You see I am going to inject you with it, then I am going to wait one minute for it to take effect and then you are going to quack like a duck, telling me everything I need to know.” I tell him as I take the injection from Kade. I fill up the injection with the truth serum then I inject it into Jerry’s arm. "Oh and don't fight it, otherwise you will feel agonising pain!"

After a minute I ask Jerry “Now tell me where the f**k is your boss asshole?” I ask him and he immediately answers me. “He has his main hideout in Pretoria but he spends most of his time with his vampire business partner, Demetrius Stone, at his hideout about 50 km outside of Durban.” Jerry says. “They are not working alone. They have a witch on their side. Her name is Marina. She is the one who gave Alanzo his powers.” Jerry adds and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. “Witches are not allowed to give other supernatural beings powers. It is against the rules of the witches council. I wonder what he has promised her?” I ask Jerry. “Marina has an issue with the witch council. She thinks that they have been in power for too long and that it needs to change! Hell everybody that is in Alanzo and Demetrius’ army wants to see the rulers of the supernatural beings go down in flames. Werewolves, vampires and elves from across the world, have joined their army.” Jerry says.

“Elves never get involved with other supernaturals. King Elgar of the elves will never allow that. He hates us other supernatural beings.” I tell Jerry and he replies that those elves have joined Alanzo and Demetrius in secret. “They want their King dead!” Jerry says. “Alpha there is something else I need to tell you.” Jerry says and then he keeps quiet.

“So what is it??” I ask him clearly showing him that he is pissing me off. “Some alphas in South Africa is working with Demetrius and Alanzo to bring you down. I just don’t know who they are because Alanzo would not tell us anything about that.” Jerry says

Just then Dante mind links me. ‘Alpha King Damien. It is the Luna. She is awake.’ He tells me ‘You better hurry she is looking for you! She is yelling at us and it is scary!’ Dante adds ‘I am on my way!’ I mind link him back.

Shit! “Well boys it has been fun but I have to go!” I turn around and take out a gun from the metal case then I shoot Jerry and Barry each right between their eyes.

“Take care of this. My Luna is awake so I have to go.” I tell Kade and Mike as I leave the room on the way to the car. “Damien you have to take a shower first! You are full of blood.” Kade tells me as he grabs my arm. “I am sure that Luna Thalia will not like to see you like that.” Kade adds. s**t he is right. “Okay I will go take a shower first. Have some clothes delivered to the room right away.” I say as I walk into one of the bathrooms that has a shower. Kade nods as he goes to get some fresh clothes out of the car.

Kade will be staying behind to help Mike take care of the bodies. I will send a car for him to take him back to the hotel as soon as he lets me know he is finished.

I take a quick shower then I get dressed and I go get in the car. I speed the rest of the way to hotel. What would take me 30 minutes to get to hotel from the warehouse, only takes me about 15 minutes. I run through the lobby and get into the elevator. “Damn this elevator is slow!” ‘Damn right it is!’ Xander says as he is pacing around in my head. ‘Oh so now you are talking?!’ I tell him and he just grunts at me.

Finally the elevator reaches the fourth floor, I walk into room 401. I see Thea, Alpha Jake, Alejandro, Dante and Daniel there but I don’t see Thalia. I smell her scent and it takes me to one of the bedrooms. “She is taking a shower Alpha King Damien. Thea tells me. “Okay then I will wait for her here. I don’t want to scare her.” I tell Thea as I go sit down on one of the couches.

After what feels like forever, I hear the bedroom door opening and Thalia walks out wearing nothing but pajamas. I use my werewolf speed to get to her. She is looking down and when she looks up, that is when I see the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen.

I hear her say “Mate” and that’s when I pull her into my arms. I yell “Mate! Mine!” I finally have my mate in my arms and I am not letting her go! Ever!

Thalia POV

After I woke up, I told mom, uncle Ale and Jake everything that had happened to me in the realm between life and death, about the conversations I had with Selene and my father. I noticed that there is a scent lingering in the air but I can’t seem to place it. It doesn’t belong to mom, Jake or uncle Ale. And it is also not coming from the two other guys that I just met. I think their names are Dante and Daniel. They are twin brothers.

“Mom do you smell that?” I ask my mom just as we are finished eating. “Smell what honey?” Mom asks me. “Smells like coffee in here. Delicious coffee that is.” I say. It is weird because no one has made coffee and there was no coffee in the kitchen.

‘Mate! Mate was here! I can smell him!’ Alexa tells me. ‘What do you mean was here?’ I ask her and she says ‘mate was here and now he is not!’ She tells me. ‘I know but where do you think he went?’ I ask her but all she says is she doesn’t know.

“I have to follow the scent because my wolf says that my mate was here!” I jump up and just as I get to the door, Dante and Daniel block my way. Just great. “What are you doing? Let me through!” I yell at them. “No can do Luna! We can’t let you leave.” Dante says as he crosses his arms over his chest and Daniel does the same!

“You are not going anywhere Thalia.” Uncle Ale says as he picks me up and carries me back to the bedroom. “Put me down Uncle Ale!” I yell at him. “Nope. Now be a good girl and stay put!” Uncle Ale says as he leaves me in the room with mom.

“Honey I have to tell you something?” Mom says and I look her in the eyes. “I think that you are smelling your mate’s scent..” She tries to tell me but I interrupt her “Yeah Alexa just told me he was here.” I tell mom.

“Yes he was but he will be back shortly.” Mom says “He just had to go take care of something.” Mom adds. “Okay I will go and take a shower because I don’t want to look like this when I meet him.” I say as I point to my clothes. “Okay sweetie we will be in the living room!”

I go take a shower  in the hotel room’s on-suite bathroom, I scrub off all the filth from my body, then I shampoo and condition my hair. Sophie and Becky sent some of our clothes and toiletries along with one of Alpha Jake’s pack warriors to the hotel that we are staying at. Mom still hasn’t told me who booked these rooms for us.

As I walk into the bedroom I smell that scent again! Only this time is stronger! ‘Mate! Mate is waiting for us in the living room!’ Alexa says as she is  getting excited. She is wagging her tail. I don’t blame her because I am just as excited as she is. I use my speed to get dressed quickly then I walk out the door.

As I look up, that is where my breath gets caught inside my throat! Because in front of me stands the most breathtakingly handsomest man I have ever seen in my life!

“Mate!” I say and as the word comes out of my mouth, he has me in his arms, yelling “Mate! Mine!”
