Chapter Eight Arabella Waking up to my first day off in a week, I stared at the ceiling, wondering what I should do with the free day. It had been nice having something to do each day. While some people may have thought my tasks were menial, I had never had so much responsibility before. And I loved it. Chase needed to have his time alone with his dogs, I supposed. And I was sure there were things he needed to do for himself that he wouldn’t want me around for. What sorts of things those were, I had no clue. With no idea of what I might want to do with my day, I rolled out of bed and went to shower and get dressed.
