Book I - Chapter 11

Outside the room

“ Hello, who are you three suppose to be? And what is your relations with the little girl ? “. The old women spoke first. She just doesn’t want to let the girl go. She had a hunch that has to do with this girl’s parents.

The young man; on the other hand; he stays guard to his nephew’s bedroom. The two young middle age married couple stands in front of him. They also guard the door with their life. They don’t trust these people. The middle age women and her husband look at each other. They nods in agreement.

“ Hello my name is Trinity Lavender. And the man next to me is my husband Anthony Lavender. And this little boy is our son. His name is Ren Lavender. And that little girl you have there is our daughter name Ichigo Lavender “. The women introduced themselves as she step forward. However; they are skeptical about these people. The little girl don’t look exactly like them not one bit.

Why you asked? Because these three all have natural black hair and brown eyes. While the little girl had passionate color similar to light pink with a tip of purple. She took out her daughter’s birth certificate. “ Here proof that the little girl in that room is our daughter “. The women spoke.

The old married couple took it. They read it out loud for everyone to hear. “ Ichigo Yue Lavender “. The old women read the name of the little girl. “ She was born on January 6, 1990 “. The old old man follow his wife. “ Honey! It says the little girl was born in a Chinese hospital in the Philippines “. The old women says to her husband.

The old man look at the young married couple. Their daughter-in-law took out her phone. She look up the name of the hospital. They saw the picture of it. And she look up as she was still skeptical about it. The women took out a photo of the little baby in her arms. The women and the baby was standing outside the Chinese hospital. They compared it. However; the picture doesn’t look exactly like the one in the internet.

“ You say your her parents. But you guys don’t look exactly alike. For now; we will wait for the girl to wake up and she will tell us herself “. The young women’s husband spoke. They didn’t want the little girl to go with them. Since, they already bonded with her. Even when it’s only for a short amount. But; they are doing this for their two little boys. They could see their sons bonding with the little girl. Even when they saw their elder son being overprotective of the little girl.

They had no choice to agree with them. They sigh. “ I spoke to my nephews. They told me that these dangerous people broke the glasses. And that they try to harm them and the little girl protected them from harm “. The young man that has his back against the door spoke. He raised his head to look at everyone. “ Do you know about this Trinity and Anthony? You’re not the one who send them to hurt our sons or this little girl you claim as your daughter? “. The young man says to them. He doesn’t trust them not one bit. But; he wasn’t her guardian to take care of her. It’s not their right.

Trinity and her husband look at each other. It was like they are communicating through their eyes. They nod towards each other. “ We do not know them. Whoever that was is just trying to ruin our family “. This time the old man spoke. He could tell this old man’s name is Anthony. Since, Anthony’s wife told them so.

Inside the room…

“ What do we do young brother? “. The boy says to him. “ I just feel very overprotective towards this girl even though I do not know her “. The boy says to him. As for the second boy; he saw love in his older brother’s eyes. This look appear to be the eyes of a soulmate.

They felt a connection the moment his older brother and the girl stare at them. It wasn’t like that with him though. There’s no connection with him and the little girl. He’s glad that wasn’t the case. But, he didn’t want his older brother to be sad. He wants to be friends with her. And he doesn’t know when him and his older brother will meet her again. Even if we did meet her; he and his older brother won’t remember at all. Since; he knows that his older brother has a learning disabilities.

A strong wind appeared. The window of this room was the only thing intact. But the window was closed. The wind brush through the little girl’s face. It was their way of telling her that everything will be okay. However; outside the door; the people waiting could felt the ground shake. And the wind was too strong for them to handle.

They started to panic. And one of them open the door. They couldn’t see what was in the room. There was giggles in the air. But they cannot see them. They are glad they found the little girl on time. They decide to show up but in the form of an animals. They came out of hiding. The humans saw different colors of animals. They jump onto the bed. They were there to comfort the little girl.

In that instant; the wind starts to flutter more strongly around the little girl. A strong flash of bright light appear. The light engulf the little girl. The two little boys didn’t let go. Nor did the light hurt them. The light only hurts the people with ill intention towards her. The people who has ill intention will get electrify or worse.

After the bright light vanished; the little girl’s body was lifted in the air. This surprised the rest of the humans in the room. But the two little boys weren’t scared of her. Slowly; the little girl’s body went back to the bed. She was light as a feather. She slowly fluttered her eyes open. All she saw was a the white ceiling. She thought she was in heaven. But; she open and closed her eyes to adjust it. She slowly got up.

The two little boys help her get up. Her back was against the wall of the bed. She saw people with worried look. She smiles for them. The two boy’s parents sigh of relief. Not until someone came in to ruin it. In the corner of the girl’s eyes; she saw her parents and brother. Her body starts to shake in fear. The parents of the two boys saw it. Her attitude change instantly.

“ We finally found you our dear daughter “. The old man says to her as he walk inside the room. He pretend like he cares for her. “ yeah, sister where did you go? You disappeared when we are all sleeping “. The little boy says to her. He also follow what his father did. They act calm. When in reality; deep within themselves; they hated the little girl. The women was standing by her bedside.

She reach out to touch the little girl. However; the little girl slap her hands away. It was an automatic response. The fight or flight ones. When the little girl knows she will get beating up. “ M-m-mother, w-w-what are you and d-d-daddy —- “ The little girl said as she starts to stutter with her words. She bit her lips. She doesn’t want to finish her sentence. Not when she saw a scary look in her parents facial expression. Along with her older brother too.

The two little boys parents watch their interaction with each other. They want to know why she’s speaking in that kind of way. They starts to frown. Not after hearing what the little girl says. The smirk in the others were happy. Because; they weren’t lying about the little girl being related to them. They were doing a dance mentally in their mind.

The little girl dares not to look up at her parents. She knows what happened if she did. The same goes with her older brother. This made it weird for the others in the room. “ Well thank you for finding our daughter for us. But it’s time for us to go home “. The women says to them. The little girl look up in a flash. She was shaking in fear. She knows that when she gets back home she would get beaten up again.
