I thought it was going to be a quick mission but when I heard Gabriella phone ping I knew there would be nothing quick about it, every time I had her join my team for a mission, its life threatening sometimes and the other times its a certain skill we need from her. Gabriella skills are limitless so she is used by everyone instead of sending numerous men and women into the front line to do a job she can do on her own, I kind of know her story of her losing her father and then losing her father platoon, the revenger written on her is in bright colours and cant be missed, I don't know how far she will go for what she wants but I hope nothing comes to my team or her. I don't even know who she's planning on revenge for as the men who killed her father and his platoon have been killed and are buried six foot under, this is more like a death wish from her. 

Entering the control room I take my seat looking at the scenes before being briefed on the mission, then coming up with a plan, sure everyone presents me with a plan but sometimes things change and I have to make sure I have a back up one, I don't always follow what the suits say as they sit in officers so when we board the plane I make sure I have a couple of ideas in mind incase. While I am waiting for the officers to brief me I look at one screen with at least five different bombs and now I know why Miss. Death wish is sitting in the room with us, I may talk about her like she wants to die but I wouldn't let it, over time she has come to someone I appreciate and I wouldn't admit this out loud but I am starting to like her a little more, its those little things between us like earlier when I sneaked into Laura class just to see Gabriella and give her candy, we have a past but its still open right now and I don't know how it will end between me and her. 

"Right you be dropping in here and making your way to this building under darkness, there is two hostages and we have information about the building being wired, your bomb expert is Gabriella" once Gabriella name is said everyone looks at her and see gives everyone a little head nod before writing everything down on a piece of paper, I have full trust in her and this mission as long as there no surprise visitors it will be a in and out mission. 

Exiting the room I grab my phone from the wall pocket and make my way to my equipment making sure I have everything I need, apparently theres a car for our exit plan if not we have to hot wire one but us jumping out the plan as its less notice doesn't make it any easier for mission success. Packing my bag with everything I am going to need I make sure its all secure, while I am packing I see my guys pack there own bag in there little world, we don't normally speak why we are getting ready as we don't want to miss anything and thats how it has been for a while now. I am the first to leave the room and walk out the base towards the plane, I don't know how many times I have jumped out a plane and hated it, the thought of my parachute not opening frightens me but its apart of the job description and all I can do is hold onto hope that I make it to the ground without a problem. 

Hope is all we need, right? 

Wearing my parachute I am prepared and now as I wait for the green light I try not to over think this like I did when I first did it, I don't know what happened that time but I almost didn't make it, I kind of panicked and now that I done it over a hundred times I still panic a little bit but I know when to pull the string though. Being the last out the plane I watch every member off my team jump and now I am watching Gabriella jump, I haven't seen her do this before but I have full trust she keep up with us and now its my turn and I nod my head before leaping out relaxing my body so its a little more peaceful when I touch the ground, the last thing anyone wants is for me to break something. 

I don't know when I touched the ground but I know I could kiss it as I open my eyes to find everyone tidying up the parachute ready to make our way to the building, its a little walk to the building where the hostages was last held and with the building being wired I would still think they are still here. Keeping my eyes open I watch out for any movement during the night as they must have someone walking around at night but as we get closer to the building none of us spot anyone, I guess the explosive are enough to make sure no one attempts a rescue. 

"Careful where you step now" I hear Gabriella say looking around as we inch closer to the building knowing one wrong step and its goodnight, with the building in sight we spilt up and enter different direction even though theres only one bomb expert with us we still split for the best chance of finding the hostages. We have already been warned that the bombs will be dodge as the chances of the explosives being secure are slim as the people making them are experienced like Gabriella. 

Moving around the building we come across stairs that take up downstairs and I don't have a good feeling right now, looking around I make sure I look for anything out of place but literally everything is out of place right now, turning the corner from the stairs we have entered the lowest level of the building and if we trigger a explosive we will be buried alive, probably what they wanted to achieve. Gabriella is already looking around the room for any wires and so am I as I quite like my life but as I turn yet another corner I see two hostages back to back to each other, grabbing Gabriella I let her look around before I approach the hostages, I have already spotted one wire around the hostages. Before we had chance to do anything the rest of the guys are right behind me looking around, the house may be empty but I don't trust the structure and I want this to be quick, telling one of my guys to keep watch I approach the hostages. 

"I am special forces Donte and the women on the ground is solider Gabriella, please remained seat and try not to move" I say calmly slightly holding them with another member because if they have bombs connecting them we end up going down with them and I want to make it back home in one piece. 

Watching Gabriella closely I hold my breath every time she touches a wire but its not that I don't trust her because I do but because everything can be faulty, bringing my attention from Gabriella I look around at my men making sure we are all calm as anything can rattle the hostages. Waiting for Gabriella word I wait patiently for her to hurry up knowing we are on borrowed time right now as once light comes up it be harder to get out and I don't know how much g*n fire this building will take. Gabrielle cuts a wire and she looks at me nodding her head we slowly lift the hostages up and I let my guy look them over before making our way out the building to our exit plan. Moving slowly out the building I make sure we all make it out without damaging anything, I constantly looking around for any sight of people, however I am holding my breath to be out of this place, this place gives me the creeps. 

Sitting in the back off the car I look out for any target moving towards us but as we start the car and begin moving nothing comes out the shadow and I don't know if its too early to say mission success but I say it anyway hoping the ride back to our exit point is clear, I have another route in my mind incase it doesn't but this place looks like a ghost town, I don't know who was holding them hostage but I am glad not to see them. I make sure every member of my team is ok while we are driving but I cant help but glance over at Gabriella who is sat next to me, she looks adorable in her full gear and she knows it, I have had dreams about f*****g her while she wears her uniform but I have never put the plan into action as I wouldn't cross my county like that, I respect my county and everything it holds. 

The drive back to the exit point was very bumpy and I felt every thing we went over, the seats wasn't actually up to standard and now I feel like I have a bruised arsed, climbing out the car I stretch my legs happily feeling the ground under my feet. However I still look around for anything out of order even though we are back to the base as this mission was a little too easy and seems more like a training mission. Looking at the hostage we rescue I want to ask them questions about who they are and who was holding them but I know I wont get answers but theres just something that isn't sticking with me and i hope i'm wrong otherwise I am calling the hostages terrorist. Looking them up and down I just want to get home right now, the lack of sleep might be the reason why I am over thinking but somehow I doubt it, we will see.
