Living for herself

Ran doesn’t have a plan to keep these gold bars. It could bring her problems in the future if she did. That’s why, she planned to release it as soon as possible. She knew that there were rules and regulations regarding these golds, so she made sure to bring all legal papers from Chairman Sun’s office.

Since Mr. Sy looked like a trusted person, she decided to pay him with this.

2 weeks later, he contacted Ran and told her that he was able to exchange every piece of gold for money. He had to travel to different places just to avoid any suspicions. Ran was amazed by the efficiency of Mr. Sy.

He also told Ran that he already deducted the amount he told her and gave it to the hospital for the operation of his daughter. And since there is still a lot of money left, he planned to return it to Ran once again. But then, Ran has another plan.

She lets him keep the money, but he needs to use some of it for the renovation of her building.

When they met, she told Mr. Sy her plans regarding this building. Mr. Sy understood it by heart and looked for people who would work under Ran’s supervision.

He also made sure to renovate the unit of Ran for her to have a place to stay. Every piece of furniture was tailored to Ran’s taste. And just a month later, Ran was able to stay in her new home.

Life can be very unpredictable sometimes. Just two months ago, Ran was just a janitress in the Sunshine Orphanage but now, she owns a building under her new name.

Zhou Xinran. That is who she is now. It’s a name that keeps echoing at the back of her mind so, she chose it.

With Mr. Sy's help, she could have every legal paper she needed. She also chose a small bank, a bank unknown to everyone at the moment, to entrust her money and get loads of benefits.

Bewildered, Mr. Sy couldn’t stop Xinran. Unbeknownst to him, this bank will have a new owner in the future, and this bank will be the most trusted all over China.

She also made sure to update the legal paper for this building with the help of Mr. Sy. While they were talking, she mentioned Mr. Sy to act as the owner as she is still a minor. Mr. Sy naturally understood Ran's concerns and agreed to it without a second thought. He's already grateful to her as she helped him in the operation of his daughter through buying his building, she also let him work under her. So, this much would be nothing.

He swore to his heart he wouldn't disappoint this young miss and work hard at all cost!

She also enrolled herself in First Huanxi High School without a problem. Zhou Xinran don’t know how, but Mr. Sy was able to make it possible.

With Mr. Sy’s outstanding performance, she was glad to hire him as her people. It was not a bad decision to let him handle all legal matters regarding her and her new building, while she is just sitting pretty inside her new home.

Thus, she decided to give the 20% share of the building to Mr. Sy. This may be small at the moment, but two years later, this building will flourish just as the city of Huanxi so, this much share will be a big deal.

Inside her new home tailored to her taste, Xinran is leisurely sitting on her sofa while watching some drama in her living room. This is the life she always wanted. Quiet and peaceful. No one will order her around, and she will not be plotting any revenge. At some point, she was glad she was done with her revenge in her past life because she couldn’t imagine how chaotic this life would be if she chose to take revenge in this life.

Xinran sighed in contentment. She then got up and stretched for a while. It’s been a while since she went out. She plans to eat outside and buy things for her school. She will be attending school as a senior next three months that’s why she needs to prepare her things ahead of time.

Xinran looked at her reflection. Her skin became as white as porcelain and smooth like she never suffered from working for the past couple of years. Her face became brighter with no trace of sunburn. Her long and straight black hair is smooth and shiny, completely different from her frenzy hair months ago. Her bony structure was also gone as she was able to eat three times a day. But strangely enough, despite eating so much, her fats seem to target her… chest. Anyway, with her appearance, no one will suspect that she went through so much hard work.

Even when in her past life, she was not able to take care of herself as meticulously as she is now because of the problems and matters with revenge. She smiled at herself. She is now living for herself.
