Betrayals and Revenge

“Sister Ran, how could you do this to me? I treated you as my real sister, yet coveted my fiancée!”

“No, no, that’s not true! You know how much I love you, Yueyue. You have to believe me!” Ran was crying as she was speaking.

“You don’t love me! Because if you really did, then why did you sleep with my fiancée? You disgust me to the core!”

Ran shook her head desperately.

“M-ming yue, y-you have to believe me! I-I did not s-sleep with him on my o-own will. H-he put a drug o-on my drink, and t-then, he raped me. I d-did not want it.” Ran cried so hard as she remembered how that disgusting guy forced himself on her! He even invited his friends to join him in violating her body! Ran was trembling with her anger, fear, and disgust!

“How dare you accuse my fiancée of that! Can you even hear yourself?! You know what, you deserve to be inside that filthy jail. Not only do you covet my fiancée, you are also accusing him of your lies!”

Cheng Mingyue stood up and immediately went outside. Ran, on the other side of the mirror, was crying so badly. This was the first time she had told about her bad experience, yet Mingyue did not believe her!

Ran lost her sense of time. She did not know how long she was in that filthy jail. Her mind was clouded as she was the subject of torture in that jail. Heck, she even lost her ability to feel pain after the beatings she experienced for the past months.

Unexpectedly, one day, she was released from jail. Disoriented, she didn’t know what to do.

With her hat hiding her face, she was able to buy a snack in a convenience store and eat it while contemplating what to do with her life.

“News Flash! Cheng Mingyue, the princess of the Cheng family and the owner of the Cheng Beauty, launched her own company …”

Ran looked up and watched the TV where Mingyue’s face was plastered. She suddenly remembered how she was treated in that family, and how Mingyue manipulated her to do the things she didn’t want to do. How stupid! She kept denying herself that Mingyue only wanted the best for her, but it is the complete opposite! Mingyue did everything to put dirt on her name!

“Miss Mingyue, from our trusted resource, it seems that your sister, Cheng Ran, was released after 3 years of imprisonment. What can you say about this?”

Cheng Mingyue stopped walking and looked at the reporter with a worried face.

“I-is that true? Everyone knows how much I love my older sister Ran despite every bad thing she did to me and my family. I-I just hope she finds her happiness now that she is free.” Mingyue immediately hopped in her car after her statement.

Unknowingly, Ran trembled in anger. Cheng Mingyue should be an actress instead! She made everyone think that Ran was the one who caused all the mischief, when, in fact, Ran was the one who cleaned the mess that Mingyue caused!

For years, Ran planned for her revenge. She had plastic surgery to completely change her face, changed her name, and started a company to rival the company of Mingyue.

The process of her revenge was not a smooth path. It was hard and took her years to plan it. Though she was not able to completely bring the Cheng family down, at least she was able to reveal 50% of their dirt.

“Tell me, you are sister Ran, right?!”

Ran smiled mockingly. “How slow. You only figured that out now?”

Mingyue became furious and slapped Ran hard.

“You b***h! Slut! w***e! How dare you do this to my family, you f*****g b***h! I should have killed you while you were in jail!”

Ran laughed so loudly that it echoed inside the abandoned warehouse.

“Shut up you b***h! Is this what you want, revenge?! Well, news flash! Your revenge is f*****g useless! I even got you tied up!”

Ran rolled her eyes, “Yes, and so? At least, I have caused a lot of damage to your disgusting family. Hmm, I wonder how long it will take you before you clean this mess. Oh! My bad, you can’t! I mean, you don’t even have the talent to keep your business up, what more rebuilding your empire? ” Ran laughed so hard that it hurt her tummy.

Mingyue became so angry and ordered her men to pour gas on Ran.

“Whatever! I’m going to burn you alive and make you regret touching the Cheng family!”

Mingyue aggressively threw a lighter on the ground and flames were immediately running on Ran’s body. Ran was laughing despite the fact she was being burned alive.

Ran was laughing so hard that it became tears.

The only thing Ran regretted in life was being adopted by the Cheng family!

Ran was crying so badly as she felt the burning pain.

“Ran!” Ran heard a voice calling her. But the pain she’s feeling is numbing her senses.

“Ran!” With a blurred vision, she saw someone running after her. She even cried harder this time.

“Ran, what happened to you?!”

“Sister Jie, I hurt my knee. It’s so painful!” Ran was crying as she glanced at her bloody knee. The burning pain was so bad.

“Come on, let’s go inside and treat your wound! Oh god, what did you do?”

Worriedly, Sister Jie carried Ran inside the orphanage and treated her wound. Sister Jie let Ran sit on a small chair and immediately gave her a lollipop from a drawer. She then went to find the first aid kit. With a gentle hand, Sister Jie treated Ran’s wound.

The 7-year-old Ran was no longer crying while licking her lollipop.

“Ran, how do you feel? Is still painful?”

Ran nods her cute little head. “Yesh! But is fine! I can manage.”

“How many times do I have to remind you? Don’t play too hard. Luckily this time, it's just a wound on your knee.”

Innocently, Ran looked at Sister Jie and smiled widely, revealing her missing front tooth.

Sister Jie sighed in defeat and kissed Ran’s cheek.
