Mina.
Her eyes cracked open. Had someone called her name? She waited a moment, but she didn’t hear anything. It must have been one of the servants. Her eyelids slowly descended and she was about to drift back to sleep when she heard it again.
Mina rubbed the sleep from her eyes and sat up, glancing around the room. She frowned in confusion. This wasn’t her room. Where was she? And then it all came flooding back, hitting her like a bolt of lightning.
