Ken came home the next afternoon. Amir didn’t see him until Todd dropped him off after work before going out again for personal errands. It had been a rough day. There was still no word from Jae via e-mail, and much to Amir’s dismay he found that Jae had not only left the Pride Riders’ f*******: group, but he had unfriended Amir and all the other Riders as well. A dim bit of optimism tried to convince Amir that Declan was probably going through one of his “bad episodes” and had forced Jae to cut himself off from the others, but would come to his senses after a few days.
