CHAPTER 27 LILY It had been three days since she’d last seen Baran. The bastard was freezing her out, as if she was the one at fault. Picking up her tea, Lily walked from the kitchen to the balcony and longingly gazed at the sea. It had been seventy-two hours since she’d last left the penthouse and she was about to climb the walls. At first, she thought he couldn’t be serious. But then she opened the door and come face to face with two sturdy-looking men in black suits and tattoos on their hands. But even then, still living in denial town, she told herself that he surely would come back to his senses. Except he hadn't. He was doing exactly what he had threatened to do: lock her up in a golden cage. Without a phone or even her laptop, she didn’t have any way of reaching out to someone.
